Olympic Lagoon

Amazing place and amazing staff! We had a fantastic week at the Olympic Lagoon Ayia Napa! On arrival, check-in was smooth and we were greeted with a cold towel and a refreshing drink. We were staying in room 717, which was just in front of Scoops and The Greats restaurant. So many positives and the highlight has to be choosing your sunbeds for the duration of your stay…what a phenomenon! Even if you don’t get your first choice on day 1, you can go back each day to choose a different spot depending on availability. Honestly, this should be at most resorts around the world! The towels were quality and come in 2 sizes - the larger one covering the entire sun-bed and having a pillow case style to cover the top of the sunbed - no need for towel clips! Rooms were spotless and kept clean by Suzanna - it was lovely to meet and speak with you throughout our stay! The AC in the room was spot on and much needed! The resort itself was clean throughout, I don’t even remember seeing any buzzy flies near our food or drinks when sat outside or around the pool area! The a-la-carte restaurants were great too, we tried The Greats, Captains Deck and our favourite, which was the Seven Orchids! We did have Garibaldi booked, but cancelled it when we saw the buffet we’re having an Indian night! The American diner is also worth a visit and the milkshakes and burgers were on point! The breakfast is plentiful with lots of choices - you can order your egg dishes/omelettes off the menu and it’s served to you at your table! The evening entertainment at this place is something else! From theatre style productions of Grease and Mamma Mia to Mystique and Queen nights. They’re amazing and the Kanika all stars are a huge credit to the hotel - from Sam, Ben, Gary, Kate and everyone else! The staff in general couldn’t do enough for you. There were no long lines to order your drinks and a staff member would always come over to take your order if you were seated at the bar! The only downside is if you have a late flight and don’t want to pay extra to keep your room for longer, having a shower in the indoor pool area is not the most private! This does not take anything away from this fantastic hotel and fabulous staff. It’s not often we think of coming back to the same hotel again, but this one has definitely got us thinking!

We had incredible stay at the Olympic lagoon resort ayia napa. The hotel and rooms was spotless. Every member of the team we met was friendly, welcoming. From the reception staff big shout to Demetri,Elena,maria.for the warm welcome. Ionas and his team for the excellent service at the restaurants. The best massage from the lovely polydora and Christina. Thank you to everyone at the Olympic lagoon ayia napa, we can't wait to return.

great experience at the hotel. all departments are hard working and go the extra mile for their guests! i particularly enjoyed the entertainment. Gary, Ben, Sam, Megan, Leah, Katie, Alexandra, Chiara, Elfin, Mia and Fedon all go above and beyond. the shows are at a great quality and if youre looking for a hotel wirh great entertainment this is the one for you!

Thank you Olympic Lagoon for our 4th stay at you Hotel & Resort. Twice now in Ayia Napa 2019 and 2026 and same in Pathos 2022 and 2023. As always absolutely wonderful hard working staff all round but a special mention to the young lady with the sun lounger staff, above and beyond. Also, the Kanika Allstars this year were probably the best yet singing wise which gave their wonderful shows that extra edge. The Cher show was new for us, fantastic with incredible vocals. Pleased we went for that one. Main Cher/Rizzo (Grease) just Wow but shouldn’t really single anyone out as they were all incredible. They also run daytime activities in and around the pool if you wish to get involved or you could be lazy and just sun bathe and go for dip to cool off like us. You have a choice. The food again was top notch (Indian Night my personal favourite) and we love the Hotel policy of sun lounger allocation. If you not quite happy where you are at, request a move and the helpful staff will do their best to move you when/if able. I personally could easily deal with the usual Sunbed wars as I’m up at the crack of dawn but it’s a stress Olympic Lagoon totally alleviate. Just why other Hotels (even 5*) do not implement this I do not understand. Never change this Policy. One slight niggle…please update the Kanika website as their order and list of Shows is incorrect. Would of loved to of seen the Queen Shown (again) at Ayai Napa this time (as advertised on the Kanika Website). Minus One are a fantastic band and are such professional musicians. You simply can not be blown away be those vocals. Back home 2 days now with the blues planning our return, we’ve tried other places but you can’t help comparing them to Olympic Lagoon.

Second time visiting this hotel, definitely ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Great selection of food that was cooked to perfection and excellent waiter service throughout the hotel. Great selection of drinks at the bars and my daughter loved the Stevie’s special kids cocktail. Totally loved the new swim up bar as it wasn’t there on our previous visit. Our room was great we had our own private garden with pool view, the mini fridge in our room was restocked every day with Coca Cola, sprite, pure orange and water. Thanks to Prakash for keeping the room spotless. Hotel is in walking distance to landa and nissi bay beaches. Definitely would have no hesitations to recommend the Olympic lagoon.
