I arrived here with my fiance and little girl on the 10th June and we stayed for 9 nights. Upon arrival we were greeted with a cold towel and a lovely drink, which was very much needed, a really nice touch. The check in process was very smooth, and we were escorted to our room via buggy, the man escorting us was lovely and gave us a tour of the room. The hotel room was overall very clean, however I did have an issue with some small bugs in the room which bit me and were very painful. Our cleaner was so lovely and she was very friendly to our daughter, we stayed in room 725. The food during our stay was incredible, at breakfast, there were iced coffee options and you could even order your breakfast and have it bought to you! Something I've never experienced in other 5 star hotels. Everything was so clean and tidy and the high chairs and sanitised covers on them. With regards to the pool, we absolutely loved it, the kids pool had a nice shady area, and the temperature wasn't too cold. My only suggestion for improvement would be to lower the gap from the slide to the pool floor, as I injured my coccyx on the first day and have been in a great deal of pain ever since, so please be careful when going down the slide! The entertainment was incredible, there was a mini disco by the pool at 12pm, which my daughter really enjoyed, and the evening entertainment was amazing. I loved the Cher and Bon Jovi night the best. My only recommendation would be to put the entertainment on a 2 week rotation rather than a 1 week, its just a bit more variety for those staying longer than 1 week. The waiting staff were lovely, and memorised our order after a few days, my favourite was the addiction cocktail and one I will try to replicate at home! The restaurants were lovely too, I think my favourite was the pan asian restaurant, I'm gutted I didn't get to try the adults only Italian, but that's my fault for having a child! Definitely pre-book these restaurants on the app prior to arriving to guarantee a reservation. The American themed diner was lovely too, the smash burgers were delicious and we went to this restaurant twice! The pool bed allocation was good in theory, but a few times we had to ask staff to intervene when people were sat on our allocated beds, my Fiance and I struggled with this a bit as we are not confrontational people, but it was quickly resolved with a few awkward conversations. The towels we received at the pool were lovely and felt very premium. The spa was lovely, a bit pricey, but all spa hotels are, I had a head massage and I swear I went to heaven, I didn't want it to end, definitely consider the head massage if you're into that sort of thing. The lazy river was great, so peaceful and I've never been to a hotel with anything like that before, I could've stayed on it all day. The adults only pool with the swim up bar was lovely, but a bit of a let down for me I'm afraid, but through no fault of the hotel. Some of the men in the pool really need a lesson in manners, there were two Scots in there whose language was absolutely disgusting, and that's coming from a swearer! Also, there was a male group from Essex, and one of the blokes there thought it would be ok to blow their nose in their hands, and empty the contents into the pool. I nearly threw up on the spot and made a quick exit. It's a shame that this hotel attracts these types of people. the checkout process was ok, we got a 11am or 12pm checkout (can't remember) which I thought was really good, as some hotels kick you out at 10am! We had a late evening flight so we had a shower in the indoor pool, this didn't feel all that private though, there was only a curtain in the shower and a small partition separating me from the pool, I was super conscious of someone walking in on me, hopefully the hotel could build some doors instead that lock to ensure more privacy? Landa and Nissi beach were both beautiful, but Nissi beach is the star of the show, I recommend going early to get a good spot on the beach. Tips: Take your own hair dryer, the one in the room is not that great Don't bother packing your own towels as you won't need them Overall, a truly wonderful 9 nights at the Olympic Lagoon Ayia Napa. I'm not one to return to the same place twice, but this hotel has seriously made me reconsider this. I hope that one day I'm fortunate enough to return! The staff are a credit to this hotel, the small touches make this hotel all the better, and I have has major post holiday blues since returning. If you're in two minds whether to book this hotel, then book it and you will not regret it!
Got you! Here’s a solid review you can post for *Olympic Lagoon Ayia Napa* 👇 --- *Option 1: Fun + Family friendly* *5/5 - Perfect for families and friends!* We had an amazing stay at Olympic Lagoon Ayia Napa. The resort is HUGE with 5 pools, slides, and tons of space so it never felt crowded even in peak season. *The good:* - *Pools & Slides*: Kids and adults both loved them. Lazy river and wave pool were highlights. - *Rooms*: Clean, modern, and spacious. Daily housekeeping was great. - *Food*: Lots of variety at the buffet. Something for picky eaters and foodies. Pool bar service was quick too. - *Location*: 10-15 min walk to Nissi Ave and the beach. Taxis are easy if you don’t want to walk. - *Staff*: Super friendly and helpful. They even put the football on in the TV lounge for us! It’s not right on the beach, but the resort itself has everything you need. Would 100% come back. Great value for what you get. *Option 2: Short + punchy for TripAdvisor/Google* *Amazing resort, would return!* Olympic Lagoon Ayia Napa is massive but so well run. 5 pools, great slides, clean rooms, and tons of food options. Staff were brilliant and really made the holiday. 10 min walk to Nissi Beach and the strip. Perfect if you want a resort holiday but still be close to Ayia Napa town. 5 stars from us! *Option 3: With a tip* *Loved it! Tip: book half board* Stayed July 2026 and had the best time. The pools are incredible and there’s something to do every day. Rooms were clean and AC worked perfectly. Food was decent for a buffet - do half board so you can still try tavernas in town at night. Don’t expect beachfront, but free shuttles/taxis make up for it. Kids club and evening entertainment kept everyone happy. --- Also, a great cleaner called Prakash made the rooms really nice and cosy for me and my family.
We came here for our honeymoon for two weeks, great hotel and staff. We had lounges in the adult only section and it was great. The adults only pool was 5* and Ivo who worked there 6 out of 7 days was incredible. What a guy. Couldn’t do enough for you and was great to have a chat to. I would come back just for him! Great cocktails, great conversations and Great all round Experience. He would remember my daily schedule and have our iced lattes and cappuccino freddo ready before I even got there!! This guy is the pinnacle of customer service and you can see it rubs off on the team around him. Olympic lagoon Ayia Napa is lucky to have him!! Thanks Ivo for everything. Would recommend this place to anyone. We’ll be coming back for definite. Thank you!
I recently attended my sisters beautiful wedding all of the staff and the food was amazing the hotel itself is huge and stunning. One member of the team went above and beyond for my family her name was Petra muckova nothing was to much trouble she is a team in one woman she really is she is a huge asset to your company and I hope she continues to grow and thrive in your business please thank her again for me and I hope she continues to move up and up in your business she is the true meaning of excellence in customer service and hospitality not just great
