Sunrise Beach Hotel

We had a fantastic stay and would definitely give this hotel 5 stars! The location right by the beach was perfect, the rooms were clean and comfortable, and the staff was always friendly and helpful. Having dedicated sunbeds was also a huge plus — so nice to avoid the stress of reserving loungers with towels early in the morning 😅 A special thanks to the great bartender Yash by the adults-only pool — always welcoming and made our days even better. Highly recommended!

My 29th visit to Sunrise Beach which says it all. I travel alone and Justine at the bar/veranda makes me feel at home and so looks after me every time I stay. The reception area is so cheerful, friendly & helpful, Maria and the blond lady think it's Vesi are fabulous. The location (on beach, central but quiet), the reservation of sun loungers, facilities, service, views, food quality and choice is exceptional, even the carrots are soft (a previous years review likened them to being harder than diamonds). The rooms are functional & clean but do look tired and dated and out of keeping with remainder of hotel although the bathroom was spot on. My only real disappointment was on my previous 28 stays I had a rock hard pocket sprung bed, I'm asthmatic & need to sleep on my front. The mattresses are now very soft, Maria on reception did her level best to help me out but the topper did little to improve the situation. For a hotel that usually runs at 100% occupancy with a massive repeat customer base why would you do this? I plan to have my 30th visit in October but we do need a conversation on my sleeping arrangements!! Anyway, its a superb hotel, with fabulous staff, great food, large gardens with sun loungers for all and great position and Justine always greets me with a 'welcome home'. I would like my second home to have a hard mattress....please Sunrise! Stewart

10 stars Fabulous holiday Wouldn’t go anywhere else whenever we come to Cyprus Special thanks to Yashi in adult bar who took care of us

First the good - hotel room was very good, location excellent, all the hotel was very clean. The not so good - the evening buffet was poor and generally only just warm. Several people we spoke to were also very disappointed. The dine around was just as bad and we sent back our food in the Greek restaurant it was that cold. The pools were also very cold and therefore used very little. There was no entertainment on most nights but there is lots going on in the bars close by. Overall I would only return on B&B basis as there are lots of restaurants nearby and just go to the beach to swim as the sea water was warmer.

This was our first stay at Sunrise Beach and we were actually booked into the Sunrise Gardens, but as that hadn't opened mid April, we were moved to the Sunrise Beach. This is a fantastic hotel and we really appreciated that we had been upgraded and were able to use the full dine around experience of six restaurants plus the main buffet restaurant. As we were staying for three weeks, this gave us the variety we like. We also used some of the restaurants on the strip. The staff at the Sunrise Beach are so nice, I'm naming a few here as exceptional - Justine in the main bar, Nicoleta in the breakfast restaurant plus Marcello's, Gire in the restaurant. Too many to name, but they are all exceptional. Rooms are great as is the housekeeping. Reception staff are brilliant. All the bar staff. During our third week our friends arrived for a one week stay. Sunrise Beach is already a firm favourite with them. Protaras and the Sunrise Beach is our new favourite destination, but shout out to Sunrise Gardens as we loved that when we stayed there in 2025.
