Sunrise Beach Hotel

Brilliant location, nice relaxing atmosphere, lovely clean rooms, nice helpful staff. We’ll be back.

This was my third time here, and all the things I loved and wanted to recreate seemed lacking. Perhaps older and used to five stars now it felt it fell short. Sunbeds allocated I loved but this time so little choice and ended up in a muddy patch where lawn overwatered. The daily trek to supermarket for bottled water as only one small bottle on arrival not replenished missed that 5* experience. Pools in October chilly and in shade. Hotel much busier than used to be in October so queues at breakfast. Overall felt overpriced and underserved whereas the opposite was true a few years ago

This is our 3rd time in the Sunrise Beach - and we had a fabulous time. The hotel is lovely, although needs a little updating in certain areas, for example the carpets on the level 5 where our room was could do with updating and the rooms could do with a refresh. This did not distract from an amazing holiday and I am being very picky here. The BIG thing about this hotel is that the staff are absolutely amazing and they make you feel like you have come home to family. The location is picture postcard perfect - directly on the beach - amazing. We would like to make a special mention to 3 very special people who made our stay absolutely fantastic: Maria on Reception - So helpful, has been at the hotel for years and knows everything about the place. Amazing Justine (Othello Bar) - Again so helpful and always had time for a chat. A pleasure to be around. Amazing Yash (Adults only bar) - This guy should be given an award for customer service - absolutely outstanding. Makes the Adults only area feel like a "hotel within an hotel" - always smiling, happy and joking with his guests. Amazing

Location fantastic lovely hotel food breakfast was great lots of choices some staff work very hard .. our room smells lovely but only one problem it was not clean to a 5 star standard .. Dust everywhere . Behind the bed on all of the skirting boards and in the corridors . . toilet not cleaned . Mirrors left .. dirty . I would give it a 2 star for the cleaning .. will not come back room 530 .. lounges out side .. ended up changing 4 times was near trees bird poo all over us . Others parts no sun .. got a good bed on the last day ..

I’m at the Sunrise Beach Hotel in Proteras Cyprus. This is the one location that I have come to at least 10 times over the last 20 years. I have not gone to any other destination more than once, other than this one, which says a lot. The hotel is great! Room seem to be renovated and are kept very clean.The people at the front desk are extremely helpful. The food is phenomenal, especially the buffet. What I love the most is that they reserve a beach chair for you with an umbrella by room number, so you will have it foryour entire length of your stay. No fighting with anyone or getting up early to reserve your chair! If you want to relax and have beautiful water, clean and little to no waves, this is the place for you! It’s also Adult and kid friendly.
