Sunrise Jade - Adults Only

We had a wonderful time at this adult only 5* hotel. The location is perfect: a short walk into town along a beautiful shoreline. The atmosphere is great - very quiet and relaxed. Our room was a very good size and well serviced, with a balcony overlooking the sea. The restaurants are excellent. Above all, the service was outstanding. Thank you very much to all the staff for helping to make this one of our best holidays ever. We will be back!

We enjoyed our week at this wonderful adults only hotel, what a gem! Rooms are a good size with all the usual amenities (safe, mini bar, coffee machine) and the housekeeping staff keep them immaculate. We booked on a half board basis which we have never done before. Breakfast and evening meal were good. Both were buffet style with lots of choice. You would need to be really fussy if you couldn’t find something you liked. The lobby bar was a superb place to sit back and enjoy a drink. Sunbeds are allocated by a member of the pool team, you choose your bed and it is yours for the duration of your stay. This alleviates that 7am towel dash I have seen on social media!! The hotel is situated on the outskirts of the resort of Protarus. There is a nice coastal path which takes approximately 15 minutes to stroll into the town where you will find many bars and restaurants. As is often the case, the real credit has to go to the wonderful staff. They work tirelessly to ensure everyone has a good time.

We stayed in a swim up pool room which was lovely. The room itself is clean and spacious, although decor could be a little nicer. Its quite basic. The TV is quite inconveniently placed so you cant really watch it in bed, which isnt the end of the world. The swim up pool its lovely and you have a nice sunbed out there to relax on. You will only get the sun there in the morning till lunchtime & then it will completely be in the shade. The hotel does assigned sun loungers though which I absolutely loved. You get assigned a set of loungers around the pool which are yours for your entire stay - avoids those annoying people at 6am with their towels out. The views are amazing. The hotel is a little 15/20 min walk along the sea to get into fig tree bay itself and the main area of protaras. It is a lovely walk though. The dine around concept for half/full board is really good - most of the restaurants are decent enough. I wouldnt pay to eat there out of choice though, but it really is worth it for a small fee to upgrade. I would recommend this hotel. This year we have stayed at the sister hotel (sunrise pearl) & much prefer sunrise Jade.

We booked Sunrise Jade so we could have a relaxing peaceful holiday. It was my first time visiting Cyprus. The hotel is stunning, so modern, comfortable, peaceful, and absolutely amazing staff everywhere. Reception staff were very friendly and welcoming, the reception area is huge, with lots of comfortable seating and a great bar area with fantastic cocktails. (Nicholas, Nassos and Daniela were very helpful) My room - huge! Massive comfy bed, lots of pillows, smart TV, great shower room, and lovely touches like a stocked mini bar, water daily, chocolates in the evening (delicious) I slept very well. The food options are brilliant, we enjoyed breakfasts cooked to order (thanks Big George) Omelettes, french toast, pancakes, and champagne at breakfast yes please! Lunch was 3 course à la Carte (best burger ever) Dinners were great too, we used the dine around and just loved being able to eat at different places each night, Ginger was our standout favourite. Maria was there to make sure we were always happy. The pools were clean, and one was heated. The pool bar was great and staff were excellent here - we loved having a latte by the pool. (And a cocktail) The absolute BEST thing about this hotel that makes it stand out is having your sunbed allocated all week. It’s yours. No towel racing, no worrying about leaving it to take lunch. It’s there… for you. BLISS! There was some nice evening entertainment, and we enjoyed the spa, walks by the coast, and exploring nearby shops etc. I cannot put into words how much I needed this break, and how it made me feel. I will be back for sure. Thanks to everyone at the hotel.
