Sunrise Jade - Adults Only

We booked Sunrise Jade so we could have a relaxing peaceful holiday. It was my first time visiting Cyprus. The hotel is stunning, so modern, comfortable, peaceful, and absolutely amazing staff everywhere. Reception staff were very friendly and welcoming, the reception area is huge, with lots of comfortable seating and a great bar area with fantastic cocktails. (Nicholas, Nassos and Daniela were very helpful) My room - huge! Massive comfy bed, lots of pillows, smart TV, great shower room, and lovely touches like a stocked mini bar, water daily, chocolates in the evening (delicious) I slept very well. The food options are brilliant, we enjoyed breakfasts cooked to order (thanks Big George) Omelettes, french toast, pancakes, and champagne at breakfast yes please! Lunch was 3 course à la Carte (best burger ever) Dinners were great too, we used the dine around and just loved being able to eat at different places each night, Ginger was our standout favourite. Maria was there to make sure we were always happy. The pools were clean, and one was heated. The pool bar was great and staff were excellent here - we loved having a latte by the pool. (And a cocktail) The absolute BEST thing about this hotel that makes it stand out is having your sunbed allocated all week. It’s yours. No towel racing, no worrying about leaving it to take lunch. It’s there… for you. BLISS! There was some nice evening entertainment, and we enjoyed the spa, walks by the coast, and exploring nearby shops etc. I cannot put into words how much I needed this break, and how it made me feel. I will be back for sure. Thanks to everyone at the hotel.

Overall this hotel was amazing , the staff were great especially the pool bar team, rooms immaculate, pure luxury BUT, the food was a bit of a let down and the only reason I haven’t given full marks. As someone with Greek back ground and that visits Cyprus often: the souvla was bland and dry. It’s as if an Englishman got put on the grill and thought “I’ll give that a go” other than that. The hotel was amazing.

This hotel is excellent, the location is in a quiet part of Protaras, approx 15 min walk into the main town, along a well maintained and lit coastal path. The hotel offers a beautiful view of a crystal clear bay, where turtles are plentiful to see. The adults only aspect is fantastic, the sunbeds are allocated, so the avoidance of 6am bed rage is non existent. Such a relief, so you can relax and enjoy the excellent hospitality from the staff, great food in the restaurant and relax by the pools.

On arrival the reception staff were friendly and very professional and have been for the whole of our break. The room service is second to none, all staff we've encountered have been professional and very friendly. We have a swim up room which is absolutely beautiful, cleaned daily and to a very high standard. The food is amazing, not had a bad meal so far. We have been twice to sunrise jade ( first time in August 2024 as a surprise for my husbands big birthday then again May 2025) and both times were absolutely perfect. Beautiful quiet hotel only a 10 min walk to the main strip . We stayed half board and the food is excellent. Dinner at the buffet is much more than an average holiday buffet , so much selection and the staff all work very hard to ensure everything is replenished. Also if you choose not to have dinner one night you can have lunch at the restaurant which isn’t a buffet but a 3 course lunch from an extensive menu. Lunch was also fantastic. We opted for a sea view room , definitely worth the extra for the upgrade- waking up to that view everyday is amazing. The pool area is stunning , and the designated sunbeds are the icing on the cake! Also loved taking a short walk across to the little secluded bay ( just walk down some steps directly across from the pool area of the hotel) it is beautiful , sadly we didn’t see any turtles but apparently they can often be seen there. One of the best qualities of sunrise jade is the fantastic staff . Everyone is so welcoming and friendly. Special mention to the beautiful Natalie on reception who goes above and beyond. It was so lovely to chat with her each day , she is a credit to the hotel. We have booked again for July 2026 to return to sunrise jade and we cannot wait! If you are thinking of booking, you will not be disappointed!
