Sunrise Jade - Adults Only

Me and my partner visited the Sunrise Jade Hotel for one week in August, from the very beginning of our stay here we felt extremely welcome by the hospitality from all members of staff. All facilities here are excellent with a beautiful location, friendly and helpful staff, lovely spacious rooms, delicious food (especially restaurant Ginger), great entertainment and all areas of the hotel being very clean and calming. There is also a beautiful little beach bay next to the hotel gardens, which was great for snorkelling. If you want to visit a luxury hotel in Cyprus this is the place to visit! We would definitely return here as the hotel staff made our stay so enjoyable. Thank you once again to the Reception staff, General Manager, Restaurant and Bar Manager, Nikolas and Reshna.

This place is amazing, great break away with my girl friend the staff are extremely helpful especially the managers and niccos the bar manager and a special mention to reshna she’s delightful The facilities are excellent Food is great especially the ginger restaurant the food was incredible

Our second time at this amazing hotel, lovely hotel, food and staff are wonderful. In particular Anna and Azhar. There were more to name but didn’t catch them all. Very clean and looked after hotel. Situated near the strip of Protarus. If you are thinking of booking then please do so as you won’t be disappointed. A lovely touch is not having to take your beach towels as you get given fresh ones each day, with your designated sun bed of your choice for the duration of your holiday. The maid knocking at your door each evening with a couple of little chocolates for you was so sweet.

So we went for 2 weeks to Sunrise Jade, we went last year in June aswell. Location is good, strip bit of a walk away but the pathway towards it is gorgeous. During our stay this time we didn’t overly enjoy our stay compared to last year. So firstly we went to the breakfast included in the amount we paid (which was a lot of money) 3 times, it was extremely busy and you just can’t enjoy the food without them asking to take your plate away every 5 minutes. We found this very overwhelming, aswell when we arrived there was 2 sun loungers for us to pick from one was pretty much in a bush and the other was away on the grass somewhere (we found out from another couple on ur checkout day they also give ur beds away). The food here is amazing, especially at the lunch and dinner but same with the breakfast you can’t enjoy it as it’s very overwhelming. My partner was asked at the dinner if he was finished his meal 3 times within 2 minutes. They’re just constantly waiting to take your plate and it’s just too much, and very over attentive and actually just off putting. We also had an incident with the cleaners phone being left in our room on our phone chargers, and our room just smelt like someone had been sitting in it. Trying to communicate to the reception about this when turning in the phone was just terrible, as there’s such a strong language barrier they don’t understand anything. So i had to ring easyjet to sort it. Then we spoke to the manager who gave us all inclusive (your drinks aren’t free here btw you have to pay for them) and this was just for the last 3 days off our stay. We had an issue the day prior as we were late to lunch, but only late as they had me waiting 10 minutes in the queue, they didn’t let us in but let another couple in right after. Even this I didn’t bring up to the manager as it’s just a roller coaster of explaining yourself and it’s actually a good waste of energy on your holiday. This hotel would be better if they had someone at that reception desk who can speak fluent english, as they do just look at you confused. Our room was cleanish, there was the same haribo sweet on the floor the whole 2 weeks, and there was a couple black patches round the room but yet again due to the high communication barrier we just got on with it. It’s a beautiful hotel hence why we came back, but it appeared after speaking to other guests the things we were talking about they were experiencing it too. When we spoke to the head office manager about the phone she just said it’s a new cleaner etc, she should still be trained to know it’s not okay to be sitting in the guests rooms and using the chargers and leaving the phone their to sneak back and get it.

This was our third stay at Sunrise Jade, and honestly, you just can’t beat it! Every time we visit, we’re reminded why we keep coming back! The staff are exceptional. A special mention to Anna in the restaurant – she is an absolute gem! Whether she was serving breakfast, the evening meal or working in the ice cream shop, she was always so friendly, welcoming and genuinely lovely. The reception team were also incredibly helpful throughout our stay, and the bar staff made the best mango daiquiris. The food in the Ginger Restaurant was amazing, delicious and beautifully presented. Our room was spotless every day, with fresh towels provided daily. We love that pool beds are allocated, which means there’s no need for the usual early morning rush to reserve a sunbed, it’s a more relaxing way to start the day. The location is perfect too. It’s close enough to walk into the Protaras strip when you fancy a bit of atmosphere, but far enough away to enjoy peace and tranquillity. We especially love the beautiful walks along the coastline. Another fantastic holiday at Sunrise Jade, and we’re already looking forward to coming back again next year.
