Sunrise Jade - Adults Only

Just returned from 11 nights at this hotel and you often think of a holiday 'it would have been perfect if....'. There was no 'if' everything was perfect. The hotel staff were courtesy and friendly with anything asked and provided external help with hire car etc. The facilities of the holiday were great, gym a little dated but sometimes to be expected but neverthless clean, tidy an all equipment available. The hotel rooms are clean and spacious and although we didn't have a sea view, this becomes shaded after 1pm but didn't miss this option really. The water replacement in the mini bar complimentary every day was a nice touch, along with replacing the coffee pod for the nespesso time coffee pod machine, with espresso cup / saucer in the room. The local shingle / stone beach, albeit small, is sheltered and lovely for swimming, cooling off or snorkelling. very picturesque The pool is spacious, clean and the added bonus of sun bends in the pool that can be moved was a nice touch. The genius idea of allocating a sunbed to you on arrival (you can choose) was welcomed and led to really calm approach to each day, along with supplied fresh towels as often as you wants which had a small sleeve to attach around your sun lounger mattress was a lovely little touch. The bar staff were amazing, Andreas and his team met you with a smile each day and remembered your drinks, invited to take a seat and brought to you. The service from Reshma was fantastic every day. The options to each out were great, all serving great food and great service. These were in the Main Street so you also take the opportunity to visit the local bars in the area and stroll back along a safe, lit coastal path. The on-site restaurant was very good so should you not wish to utilise these there is still plenty of options every day. Should you wish to swap your evening meal for lunch this can be arranged any day and the lunch was three course menu, rather than buffet type. in summary a great hotel, in a beautiful location made memorable by the whole team at the hotel all of the time. We couldn’t fault the cleanliness of the hotel. It was kept spotless throughout our stay, and many of the staff were incredibly polite, friendly, and helpful. If you’re looking for a very quiet, chilled holiday, this hotel is for you. That’s exactly what it was—perhaps a little too quiet and relaxed for our liking. The hotel is apparently eco-friendly, but that meant the lights and air conditioning would switch off automatically while you were in the middle of getting ready. And would take a while to come back on and adjust to the room temperature again. Room
We stayed in a swim-up room, and it was fantastic. We really couldn’t have asked for anything more. It was spacious, comfortable, and having direct access to the pool made our stay feel extra special. Our terrace enjoyed the sunshine until around 12:30–1:00 pm, after which the sun disappeared behind the building and the area became shaded. This wasn’t a major issue for us, but it’s worth knowing if you’re hoping for sun throughout the day. The only downside was the location of our room. It was directly opposite the seating area where guests gathered after their evening meal. This meant that if we wanted a late evening swim, there wasn’t much privacy as people were sitting nearby. Unfortunately, the food was the biggest disappointment for us. We felt the hotel caters to a very specific taste, and if that doesn’t suit your preferences, dining can be quite difficult. At dinner, we often struggled to find enough options that appealed to us. We also noticed that many of the desserts contained nuts. As someone with a nut allergy, this significantly limited the choices available and made dessert disappointing. During our stay, we chose to eat out on a couple of occasions, including at the Brazilian restaurant and the Greek restaurant on Protaras Strip, which we thoroughly enjoyed. ( this is included with half board through the hotel ) no extra charge only drinks. When we booked the hotel on a half-board basis, we were informed that soft drinks were included with meals. However, this was not the case. Soft drinks were only included at breakfast, and any drinks with dinner had to be purchased separately. We found the drinks at the hotel to be quite expensive, which was disappointing as it wasn’t what we had been led to expect. Views The views from the hotel are absolutely stunning. Having such beautiful beach right on the doorstep made the experience even more special. One morning, we woke up at 5:15am to watch the sunrise, and it was truly breathtaking. It was a magical experience and definitely worth the early start. Location. The location was perfect—around a 10–15 minute walk down the road to the strip. Alternatively, you can take the beach route, which takes a little longer, but it’s a beautiful walk with a lovely sea breeze that helps keep you cool on those warm evening strolls. During our stay, we visited Turtle Bay, but unfortunately we weren’t one of the lucky ones to spot any turtles. Just outside the hotel, there are plenty of boats docked throughout the day, and we were told you can sometimes see turtles in the little cove there as well. Sadly, we didn’t manage to see any during our visit.

We've just returned from other first class holiday at Sunrise Jade. Everything at this hotel is great. We had Room 511, sun in the mornings, and a beautiful beach view. Rooms immaculate. Good quality coffee in room and 2 bottles of water provided each day. We were half board. We used the Dine Out scheme once (Greek restaurant) but we much preferred to eat our evening meal in the hotel. The food was exceptionally good. Quality of meat etc also very good. Restaurant staff warm, welcoming and helpful. Sun lounger scheme amazing. Take, or buy 'beach shoes' if you wish to swim in the sea. It's stony underfoot. Gym could do with a water dispenser. This is an Adults Only hotel. At our stage in life, we enjoyed the peace and quiet! The next town is Pernera. You could walk to it or get bus/taxi. Much quieter than Protaras and a lovely alternative for coffee/ice cream in the evening. Thanks to the whole Sunrise Jade Team. You are amazing! Would we go back? Absolutely!

This hotel was that good we never left during our two week stay. Beautiful location, spotlessly clean ..a sea view room a must! Andreas and his team of staff are an absolute credit to the hotel! The food was delicious, plenty of choice all made with quality produce. Such a variety of cocktails on offer, our favourite the Aperol Sour. Small touches really do make your stay extra special. Your own reserved sun bed with fresh towels daily (that fit over the sun beds). Maids calling in the early evening to check if you need anything and bringing chocolates! The bar staff remembering what you drink.. I don’t think we had to ask once! I can understand why some of the guests have been numerous times. We cannot wait to return!

We came here for the first time last year after doing a lot of research. We didn’t want a high rise hotel surrounded by other, similar buildings, we wanted ‘guaranteed’ sunshine and a bit of peace and quiet. Sunrise Jade delivers this - and more. Superb food and service (we had half board). Last year we had a swim up room but really didn’t use it so we opted for a sea view room this time. The allocated loungers works so well and the staff are all very friendly and provide a superb service. The varying options in terms of dining should suit all tastes. Wine and drinks aren’t astronomical and we loved ordering a cocktail from our sun lounger via the QR code. We’ll be back!
