TUI BLUE Atlantica Aeneas Resort

The perfect family holiday! We travelled with our nearly 7 year old son and our cousins and their 2 girls aged 4 and 8. Firstly the customer service is the best I’ve experienced at a hotel (closely followed by our holidays in Dubai) I want to say never before have I visited a hotel and learned so many of the staffs names and had so much positive feedback to say about them in a review… Room Although we were holidaying together, my cousin forgot to call up and link our bookings, so on check in we were put in a pool view family room in the main building (room 303) and they were put in the same room type but not in the main building (room 715) We were happy with our room although theirs was definitely nicer - it was slightly more upgraded decor wise and had a newly updated electrics control system. We wanted to be closer to them so we spoke to reception on day one and although they couldn’t move us straight away, they without hesitation arranged to move us next door to our family at the earliest opportunity which was 3 days into our 11 night stay which we were very happy with and we loved our new room! (Room 716) The only downside to being in the main building was having to wait all the time for the lifts and the lifts were right outside our room so it could be quite noisy but our new room was lovely and peaceful. Also the first few nights were quite warm as the air con hadn’t been turned on but by our second week, it was switched on and I slept much better! Food Best food I’ve ever had in a hotel hands down (and we have been on many many holidays) every morning I was having eggs benedict with sour dough bread, rocket, oregano tomatoes, “low fat” bacon, yoghurt with berries, sunflower seeds, pumpkin seeds, chia seeds, walnuts, almond infused honey etc etc the food was so fresh, so plentiful and so delicious! Normally by week 2 of a holiday I am starting to get a bit bored of the food but I could have stayed and eaten here forever. Spyros and Androulla who are front of house at the main restaurant are so lovely and friendly and extremely good at their jobs, from very early on Spyros remembered there were 7 of us in our group and he would see us and say “ahh the lucky 7!” And Androulla was so friendly and chatty, they always put a smile on our faces when visiting the restaurant. There were lots of different theme food nights with Cypriot night being our favourite 😍 We visited both of the À la carte restaurants, we struggled to get reservations so spoke to Hosam at reception who managed to book us in (he was also the one who arranged for us to move rooms) so big thank you and shout out to him! The snack bar Wow…. All kept behind a glass counter and served to you at your request - fruit, yoghurts, cakes, sandwiches, the most DELICIOUS salads, hot dogs, burgers, pizzas, chips, the tastiest chicken nuggets which our kids loved! Falafel wraps and the most sensational chicken gyros 😍 then next to that, ice cream bar - again served to you with a range of flavours and sauces. Bars Great selection of drinks - bar staff will pretty much make you whatever you ask for and they are so friendly. Must shout out Panikos who served us every day at the bar next to the snack bar, he was always so friendly and polite and always remembered our usual! Abdul - what a joy, we (and especially my son) loved Abdul! He was usually serving round at the swim up bar and was so lovely, friendly and hardworking and always making my son strawberry milks, my son wanted to say goodbye to him before we left because he made such an impression on him 🫶🏼 Then we have abdelhakim - also very friendly and lovely and made me try his whisky special which certainly left an impression! Fortina at the indoor bar for making us our baileys caramel iced frappes every morning to perfection and just being the loveliest beautiful lady! Hotel Grounds Beautiful, stunning. The landscaping, the cleanliness… so so nice. The pools are beautiful too although I can’t lie, as expected as they aren’t heated, they were freezing! But that didn’t ruin or holiday, we still had a bit of a paddle as did the kids but there was no actual swimming this holiday! But it didn’t matter as the kids were happy doing other things around the pool anyway such as playing in the park or joining in with the Tui reps playing games (which they did every single day and really enjoyed) special shout out to Tui rep Honey who was lovely and friendly and remembered all of ours and our kids names and always got us involved (All of the Tui reps were super lovely, but didn’t catch all of their names) We never once had any trouble getting the sunbeds we wanted but that could have been down o the time of year, I can’t comment what that is like in the summer months. Activities/Entertainment As mentioned, the kids joined in with a lot of the “lawn” type games with the reps and also joined the football a few times. Myself and my cousin went along to a relaxation session with Marcus which was lovely (it was only us there but very relaxing!) Evening entertainment was hit and miss - particular highlights for us was the silent disco and the guys who did the fire show, we also found the Michael Jackson tribute very entertaining 😅 it was cold outside this time of year though so definitely take a warm jacket! Although if you preferred a different vibe, in the bar indoors there was a singer/guitarist every evening instead. Local area Bus can take you to aiya napa in a few minutes or stay on it and it will take you all the at to Protaras. 2 euros for an adult and 1 euro for a child and buses very frequent. Nissi beach is just over the road from the hotel and is STUNNING. The water is like the Caribbean 😍 and you can walk through the water to a little island. My husband did jet skiiing one day from the beach - 60 euros for 15 mins and we watched him from the island. The Dads and the 2 eldest kids also did a quad biking excursion one morning which they booked through the Tui rep and really enjoyed. One evening we went to Protaras and watched the “Magic Dancing Waters” show which was great. Took about 45 to get there by bus and 20 mins home by taxi. Also just before we left us and the family we were travelling with found out we had been put on different transfers back to the airport… found a tui rep instantly (there was always one around) and she immediately rectified this by putting us on the same coach, no hesitation. All in all we had the most wonderful stay and will most definitely be returning. The main top features for me of this hotel are 1. The staff 2. The cleanliness of the hotel and grounds (again this could be down the the time of year with it being early in the season and not overly busy but I can hope that’s not the case) 3. The food. A lovely hotel and excellent holiday. Plenty of food choices and variety, the snack bar offering salads was refreshing. It would be great if ice-cream was available outside of lunch/dinner hours but that may be due to us visiting so early in the season. All staff go above and beyond to make you feel at home, a few mentions for staff who enhanced our visit. George welcomed us into the restaurant daily with a happy smile - he ensured our table was ready when we were celebrating a birthday. Anna (Guest relations) helped me organise flowers and a cake for my mothers birthday, this was greatly appreciated. Barbara at the outside pool bar making perfect drinks all day to enjoy in the sunshine! The pool was of course on the colder side visiting in March/April, however this is to be expected and did not stop us or others going in. It is a lovely big pool and was relaxing to sit around, never seeming noisy, chaotic or too busy. The indoor pool being heated was perfect, and we used it daily later in the afternoon. Overall the hotel was spotless, the rooms were immaculate on arrival. I feel like the daily room housekeeping was enough to keep the room maintained and comfortable for the duration of our stay. The room was a great size. I found the mattress soft, but it was great having thick and thin pillows to choose from in the room. The hotel is literally across the road from a stunning beach, beach bars and a short stroll from some shops. We ventured out most days for a wander and also took a quick taxi to Ayia Napa old marina for a stroll one day, we got the taxi from outside the hotel and it was 10 euro each way. The Tui staff put heaps of effort into the kids club, activities and evening entertainment, which gives the whole place a lovely atmosphere. The evening quiz using the Quizstorm app was great. The kids disco was brilliant for our daughter however I will say that some of the songs are not the usual kids disco songs/dances, which take a little time to learn. There is plenty of places to sit of an evening, whether you want to watch the show, listen to live music in the indoor bar or sit by an outside bar. Overall, we thoroughly enjoyed our holiday so much so that we have booked to visit again in a few weeks. I cant wait to be eating dolmades daily and maybe this time I will join in Aqua Fit!

What an amazing hotel! It is absolutely spoless , food is amazing and so much choice for vegetarian , gluten free , kids menu… you name it The hotel is huge and they have everything for families/kids. If you are child free they have child free pool. Inside and outside pool,gym,snack bar, bars outside, playground , kids club, babies club. Entertainment for kids at the evening . Staff are really helpful and so nice. There’s a shop attached to the hotel with everything you could think of . Perfect location , beach is just crossed the road with the best bars . We did not notice any noise during the night and felt really safe. Ppl are really family oriented and the whole place is kids friendly We definitely will visit again!

We are currently staying at the hotel and are on day 3, as nice as the people are the food is shocking and cold at breakfast,lunch and dinner I have complained 3 times room number was taking with the promise to be spoken to but nothing

We got married here a few weeks back and it was just amazing from start to finish, Caitlin was a dream and also Cheradine, room was beautiful the pools beautiful albeit a little cold but everything was great food entertainment etc a big group of us went and we had the most fantastic time and already planning October trip back
