Place was great nice staff that always smile and chat and help when needed and clean rooms and place is a great hotel to visit and the staff member laxman always great to chat and helpful

Location of this hotel is 10/10 half way down the strip and slightly set back. We were located in Block C room 3105, which was the perfect location for us, next to the adult pool, quieter (with the patio door shut) and we had been upgraded from a Deluxe room to a one bed suite with a sea view. Room was fabulous, bed was so comfortable and huge with a separate lounge containing an additional tv and 2 chaise longues. There was a mini fridge, tea/coffee making facilities, a safe and separate air con for each room. Bathroom had a shower and 2 sinks with complimentary toiletries. Maid service was daily with do not disturb and clean my room buttons, which was very handy as we like to lie in. The outside of the bathroom including the door is made of opaque glass which may be a challenge if you do not know your room mate well. Our cleaner did a super job. Fresh towels daily and bedding changed every 3 days. Plus you get pool towels that can be changed Mon, Wed and Fri at the Spa. All staff were polite, hardworking and helpful. We were mother and daughter holidaying and used the adult pool every day, there are plenty of sun loungers and day beds to use and the first few days was a sanctuary. Guests generally adhered to the rules that are signposted. However the last few days of our 8 night stay we saw an increase in families with their under 18 children, dive bombing, ball games in the pool and an increase in the number of inflatables. If it was a big pool it wouldn’t be so noticeable or as annoying. This does need addressing. There was notification on the board as to what entertainment was scheduled but it appeared to be low key, which suited us. We did spot a bookcase as we were leaving with paperbacks in the reception to the right as you come in, which we wish we had known about. We were BnB but the majority of the clientele were all inclusive but after the limited lunch offerings in the snack bar we decided not to upgrade as it was very basic. Breakfast was okay but be warned it is shut off bang on 10am and you are not permitted to take food with you to your room. All in all it is a great hotel but the food was lacking. Protaras is for you if you spend your evenings in Sports bars (there are a lot of them) with tribute bands and karaoke snd multiple tv screens.
