First time in croatia. We wdnt for my birthday. we arrived late at night. Was told food still available in restaurant but we didnt bother. Went and got a couple of beers from outside bar which is opened until 12. Inside bar opens till 11pm. Drinks were good. Cocktails average can buy a nice cocktail st lounge bar where antonio will serve you. Our room was a sea view roon was amazing view. We took our own kettle cups coffee as we like to have a coffee on the balcony. No fr8dge in the room. Nsver had a room without a fridge. Food was ok on the restaurant does get abit repetitive but thats what you get at all inclusive. Not alot goes on at night. We went to a couple of restaurants at night just for a change. Safe in room is free and no tourist tax. Pool is freezing but got to go in it. You can get towels with a card from recption. . Airport transfer us about 2 hours depending how many pick ups. We had a lovlely relaxing time. Beautiful sunset from our balcony.
Two hour transfer from airport on coach. plenty of food in the all-inclusive buffet and snacks in between, coffee machine in reception if you need out of hours. nice rooms. Offered a packed lunch for the transfer Home, which I thought was a nice touch but you have to ask at reception. Pool, lots of sun lounges and brollies, beautiful but very cold not salt water very close to beach would advise taking water shoes as beach is very rocky and painful underfoot, Adriatic sea freezing. beautiful walks round the promenade few souvenir shops and little bars and restaurants and a local man selling olive oil. There was some live music outside one night all inclusive drinks okay and availability to buy better quality spirits. Great staff, very clean, beautiful location
After getting ill from a different restaurant, separate to this hotel, my options for food were limited. I could only really eat low fibre foods like bread, they did have a bread basket at the Bluesun Neptun all inclusive food cantine but was covered in flies, so couldn’t really eat anything for the rest of my holiday. Quite dissapointing unfortunately. Beautiful scenery around though and friendly staff, just a shame about the food.
Lovely family holidays generally, lovely staff and friendly team. Hotel has enough amenities for family of all ages. Environment is lovely and great view
We arrived at the hotel by car to find a queue at reception and only one member of staff manning it (which was often the case). Our room was facing the sea with good views and was clean but with the air conditioning turned off throughout the hotel, it was really hot and stuffy day and night, even with the door left open. The thermostat showed the room never went below 26 degrees! The pool area was very busy, lots of children of all ages and very noisy. There were still sunbeds stacked up so we were able to take these to an area upstairs where there was less noise. The food wasn't great, not much variety and the breakfast was cold every morning (even on the morning we turned up at 7am when the 'canteen' opened). I call it 'Canteen' because this was the vibe we got. It was noisy, children screaming and running about, the tables weren't set up, we had to find cutlery and napkins, there was always banging of plates and cutlery from the staff, it reminded me of a school canteen! The food wasn't good but it was at least clean in there. Evening entertainment was pretty much non existent. We arrived on a Sunday for a four night stay and there was nothing on that evening, the following evening was children's entertainment, we had one evening of music and then the next evening again was children's entertainment. The main bar was outside and in October it really isn't warm enough to be sitting outside after dark so many people would try to sit indoors in the very small seating area based in the foyer. There was never anywhere to sit and so most people took their drinks up to their bedrooms to sit on their balcony. For us, this was better because it was away from the noise but there was no getting away from the smoke anywhere in this hotel. There were no areas for non smokers (although in my opinion it should be that it is all non-smoking and areas provided for smokers) and even on the balcony there was smoke coming from either side. Other than the beer, the drinks weren't good. The red wine was undrinkable. We ended up purchasing bottles of wine from a local vineyard so we could enjoy a drink on our balcony. The two lifts were so small and always busy so we found ourselves having to take the stairs most times. We really didn't enjoy anything about our stay here and we found ourselves (fortunately with a car) going off early and sight seeing rather than having to spend any more time than necessary at the hotel. We would eat out when possible instead of having to use the canteen and we were fortunate enough to find a nice restaurant about 15 minutes walk from the hotel where we could enjoy an evening meal. On top of all this, the showers were cold two out of the four days. I am not sure what was going on there!! Wifi was terrible too.
