Gava Waterman Milna Resort

Amazing location and beautiful views all around, I’ve never had such a lovely view when sunbathing looking out over the sea and coast. We stayed in an island cottage and I was very impressed, very clean, very efficient and controllable aircon, the sofa beds for the children were separate and a well supported mattress so comfortable for them. The bathroom was spotless lots of hot water and the shower was powerful and height adjustable. Our bed was comfortable and decent pillows not the flat kind you often find. With shutters on the windows you could keep it nice and dark so not woken up really early, this also reduced any noise from outside but to be honest it was really quiet nothing disturbed us. The food selection was good a bit of queuing sometimes for busy areas but not bad and constantly being restocked, as a vegetarian I had lots of choice which made a change. The entertainment team did lots of activities through the day you could join in if you wanted, something for everyone. I don’t know how they kept going with their energy in 33 degree heat. My children wanted me to mention the ice cream bar which they enjoyed. The three pools ment lots of choice so if one was busy or an on activity you could just move. Reception staff were very helpful ordering taxis and advising on rep times. The sea access was easy and the water crystal clear, lots of fish to see snorkling. My children enjoyed the big inflatable with trampoline out in the water too. We did use the complimentary paddle boards a couple of times too which was easy. Only negative I would have is the cocktails which were very sugary artificial colours rather than fresh juices in them. The other thing with the drinks would be all seemed to be in just single use plastic cups, there was some recycling but not sure if these were able to be. I used the spa while I was there and it was great value and the staff very friendly. It was one of the best family holidays I’ve had, I had been a bit worried after reading some other reviews but did not find any issues when we stayed, the staff could not have been more friendly and helpful.

We had mixed feelings about our stay. The biggest disappointment was the food. The selection was very limited, and the menu lacked variety. After just a couple of days, every meal felt the same, and the overall quality was below our expectations. The pools are quite small, and even in July the water was surprisingly cold, which made swimming less enjoyable. The entertainment program was also disappointing. The activities were very basic, and the only truly interesting attraction was the aqua cycling in the pool. On the positive side, the beach is beautiful, and the Adriatic Sea is absolutely amazing with crystal-clear water. We also appreciated that guests could use SUP boards and kayaks free of charge, which was a great addition. The cottages look nice at first glance and are generally comfortable, but unfortunately there were quite a lot of spiders inside, which was unpleasant. Overall, the location and the beach are the hotel's strongest points, but the food, entertainment, and pool facilities need significant improvement.

Very comfortable spacious rooms And well kept. The entertainment team did a great job with different activities for all ages. The food was absolutely fantastic. By far the best we have had as a family of 4 comparing to other all inclusive places we have been to. The choice was great. The food was fresh and the different themed nights were well thought out and a great selection. Really friendly team of staff always there to help out. And of course headed by the Legend BIG JOHN. We would highly recommend coming here. Thank you for making our stay great!

The food at this all-inclusive resort was outstanding. There was an incredible variety of dishes, and every day offered something new, so the meals never became repetitive. The selection was extensive, with plenty of options to suit different tastes. Everything was well-seasoned and full of flavor, making every meal enjoyable. The restaurant staff were exceptionally friendly, attentive, and always went out of their way to make sure guests had a great experience. Overall, the food exceeded our expectations and was one of the highlights of our stay. Highly recommended! Although I think that more attention should be payed to guests that are too loud while eating or mess up food. As well as in the pool area - I saw some people in there with ice cream and that is incredibly gross so please have a look at what people do Other than that 10/10
