Gava Waterman Milna Resort

We are just on our last day at the Gava Waterman Resort, our first visit here. Doing some research before our trip, the one thing that worried us were the reviews regarding the food offering . Having now spent a week here, we have found breakfast, lunch and dinner to be fantastic, great variety and some really outstanding options. Not just occasionally, every day there were superb options, speciality dishes and themed evening's that were really first class (Mexican and Oriental especially good) . Service and staff are genuinely first class, helpful and instantly at your service. The specialty dish today was THE VERY BEST CHILLI CON CARNE I've ever had. I will definitely return next year.

We have just returned from a fantastic 10-night stay at the Gava Waterman Island Resort and cannot praise it enough. It is a truly beautiful place, surrounded by stunning nature, with great accommodation, breathtaking views, and crystal-clear turquoise water right in the bay. The whole experience is elevated to another level by the fantastic, helpful staff. Everyone gives such lovely service. The Restaurant & Waiter Service: The service at the restaurant was exceptional. All of the staff were brilliant, but we tended to be served by Abraham, Lucijan, and Asanka, who looked after us beautifully. The Kitchen Team: The food was fantastic! An amazing selection of vegetables, salads and fish etc. Great not to have chips at every meal but a nice selection of potato dishes. Chefs Cristian Jiménez Peña and Chef Angel were absolutely super. The Bar Staff: All of the bar staff were incredibly friendly and welcoming. We had lovely service from the entire team and Rod, Hiram, Ella, and Queen, always looked after us with a smile and friendly conversation. The Animation/Entertainment Team: Yury and her incredible team (Robin, Matúš, Antea, and Nicolas) were such lovely, warm people. They kept us active and entertained with great fitness classes, Boccia, Mölkky, guided walk and loads more. The Island Spa is amazing as well, such cheap prices for massages compared to the UK. My only negative is that single use plastic glasses are used, I just wonder why reusable plastic glasses can't be introduced. If you are looking for a beautiful nature-filled escape with exceptional hospitality, this is it.

We had a really nice stay at the resort. The staff were so helpful and friendly. The food was also just right. Great selections each day and everything felt fresh and expertly cooked. The kitchen and cooking team do an excellent job, they should be really proud. Overall a really good resort, in a beautiful setting. We hope to return to this lovely resort one day.

The resort is very good. The facilities, the views, and all the staff are amazing and very helpful. The food is delicious. Mariana in the restaurant always helped me pour the perfect beer whenever I was having difficulty. The outdoor infinity pool is absolutely stunning, especially at sunset. Be sure to visit the bar as well, the staff are super friendly, and they make excellent drinks.

The food is fantastic, the kitchen crew is friendly and does a wonderful job during this crazy hot time.
