Hotel Plaza Duce

A wonderful, modern hotel located in a peaceful area close to the resort town of Omiš. Clean, cozy, and comfortable. We had a room with a beautiful sea view. The staff were wonderful and always ready to help with any questions or requests. The only downside was the high price of the sun loungers on the beach by the sea. In my opinion, they could be offered at a lower price for hotel guests. Apart from that, we were very happy with our stay.

A wonderful hotel. Spotlessly clean. Stayed in a deluxe room - spacious, lovely view and very peaceful. Every member of staff we met was warm, welcoming, very professional and helpful - reception, cleaners, kitchen/restaurant/pool/bar/spa staff. We stayed half-board - great choice of good food. There are plenty of sunbeds around the pool and a comfortable area with chairs/sofas which has sunshades and beautiful views. It is also a nice space to have a relaxing drink in the evenings.The pool is maintained to a high standard in keeping with the rest of the hotel. We stayed around the pool area rather than the beach. Happy hour cocktails at the press of a button! Highly recommend this hotel and the team of staff. Travelling to Split was straightforward via bus (bus stop close to the hotel) and the Promet app. In August, however, the roads and bus were very busy. We went to Brac Island (boat trip booked through hotel) and into Omiš - the river Cetina boat trip is definitely worth doing. Omiš is easily accessible by bus. There is a small supermarket very close to the hotel. The hotel reception staff provided lots of helpful info in arranging visits. A lovely holiday destination.

The highest of standards and quality throughout every aspect of our stay at this superb hotel. From the moment we stepped into reception to the moment we left, we experienced a faultless and impressive stay. The staff were always polite, friendly and helpful. The reception staff were highly professional and knowledgable. Nothing was ever too much trouble. They were accommodating to our every need and without any hassle. All the staff demonstrated the highest level of customer service. The quality of the hotel throughout was a constant - from the decor, facilities, to the finer touches that made that extra special impression. The meals were outstanding every day - variety, flavours, presentation and quality. Our overall experience is one that shall now be the benchmark standard that I will always hope for in any future holidays.

We’ve just returned from having two weeks in Croatia and I have to say that the country is lovely. This hotel is spotless, the view is immense, our room is one of the best we’ve ever had, and the staff are wonderful. I would recommend getting the deluxe rooms as they are at the top of the hotel and you get a completely clear sea view, which is stunning during the day and night. This hotel has a lovely beech bar that sits in front of the hotel right on the beech and there is a great selection of food. The hotel pool is excellent and for the first time ever, there were plenty of seats available. There is waiter service so you never need to leave the pool for your food and drink! I would recommend taking the local bus to Omis as the architecture is beautiful. To save money download the local Promet Split app and you save money and only pay €1.75 each. This is one of the best holidays we have ever been on and we will definitely be returning!
