Hotel Plaza Duce

Beautiful hotel situated overlooking the sea. Easy access to buses for Omis and Split. 10 euros taxi into Omis. 20 euros to Split. The staff at the hotel were EXCELLENT. Reception staff were knowledgeable and professional while the restaurant and bar staff were friendly and highly trained. Couldn’t fault any of them. Room was spacious, exceptionally clean and had great sea views. The whole hotel was spotlessly clean and we were greeted by a lovely fragrance when we entered Reception. Oils from Italy I understand. There was no late night noise. Food was delish - breakfast, pool side and Al a crate. Entertainment each Tuesday and Thursday evenings. Only minor negatives: no comfortable seating in the indoor bar area although lovely soft seating outside on the roof terrace. And most of the few local bars were closed when we were there (nothing to do with hotel of course). Overall an excellent experience - one which we would happily repeat. Value for money all round. We have had such a special and wonderful stay. The hotel is so well run. Professional and exceptionally clean. The staff are so polite and nothing is too much trouble. I cannot believe the hotel is only 4 star. We were in a deluxe room. V v quiet, beautiful views. The only thing I feel would be great would be comfy seats inside by the pool bar. We will be back.

Stayed at Plaza Duce with my husband and 4 friends from 10 Sept. Fabulous stay in top rate hotel. Staff friendly and really helpful. Room was spacious and lovely. The hotel was spotless from top to bottom, in fact it gleamed. Breakfasts were lovely with loads of choice. We ate at the restaurant at sister hotel in Omis 3 times during our stay and would highly recommend (ask at Plaza Duce reception and they will book a table for you). Again staff were lovely and the food was scrummy. Booked holiday thru Jet2 and had a wonderful holiday from start to finish. Croatia is a wonderful Country so clean and the Croatians are so friendly - loved it.

We were camping just across from Hotel Plaza Duce and came over for dinner on the beautiful rooftop terrace. Food: 10/10. Service: 10/10. Location and views: 10/10. Everything was excellent, and we had a wonderful evening. Highly recommended.

Absolutely blown away by the kindness and helpfulness of ALL of the staff during our whole stay at Hotel Plaza. From reception to cleaning staff to waiters and waitresses and even the regular taxi drivers! Stayed here for a week for our Honeymoon and we had the Superior Deluxe Sea View room. The room was spacious and nothing was ever too much for the cleaners who changed towels and topped things up everyday. The hotel is absolutely spotless EVERYWHERE! The reception staff gave us recommendations on where to go and eat and were always helpful and friendly. Inside and outside pool very nice and clean all the time. Beautiful views from the balcony. Breakfast was delicious and was plenty on offer. There was a fair few people but there’s plenty of room between tables. We took a bus to Split from a bus stop just down the road. Took about 40 minutes providing no traffic. Just a warning Split can be VERY busy and touristy. I don’t cope well with crowds anyway but certain areas were very busy. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would 100% recommend this hotel to anyone. They are just fabulous!! Thank you to all at Hotel Plaza ☺️
