Valamar Meteor Hotel

Fantastic holiday with my family, everyone from my 5 yr old through to Nanny were thoroughly satisfied. Wonderful facilities, food and a perfect location to explore from. The staff were the real stars, always happy to help with a warm smile, they really did make our stay extra special. Thanks from Reggie’s gang

This is the second year in a row that we have stayed at the Meteor, and like last time we had a wonderful experience. The hotel is spotlessly clean, we upgraded the room and the view we had from the large balcony was breathtaking, staff in the hotel were great and the food also catered for all tastes.You will struggle to find a better location for a hotel anywhere and we are hoping to return again soon.

This Hotel is very clean and has a great location. Positioned closed to the beach, shops and restaurants. However it is not four stars. There are children riding on scooters and trikes at speed up and down the reception area, even at 10pm at night. The hotel does not offer any water in the room or any drinks in the mini bar fridge. Aircon is poor in rooms, when we arrived the room was so hot, rooms are tiny and dated. You can’t see any views from the balcony if you sit in the very poor chairs provided, just a concrete wall. Loud music can be heard until 2am from local bars, hideous when trying to sleep. Pillows and beds really uncomfortable. Staff were polite. We had an early flight home but because we checked out after 7pm we couldn’t have a breakfast box. Very poor seeing as we’d paid for it! If you don’t care where you stay, this hotel would be perfect as the location was great. Very disappointed and wouldn’t return.

Excellent hotel location, with service and staff of an exceptionally high standard. The cleanliness and food are simply perfect. We love staying at Valamar.

This was our second visit to the Valamar Meteor and once again enjoyed our two week holiday. Rooms are clean and comfortable and all the staff are helpful and friendly nothing is to much trouble for them. However couple of minor dissapointments we found the food was good but lacked a few things from last year ie: freshly carved meat and variety in evening and fresh fruit at breakfast. Lovely pool area and in great position for walking and proximity to the town. We wouldn't hesitate to return hopefully next year.
