This holiday was all we expected and more. The location was perfect, very close to the beach and harbour as mentioned in other reviews. The campsite was an oasis of calm and we loved our little house and plunge pool. The staff all worked very hard, were friendly and nothing was too much trouble. The house keeping was excellent with frequent fresh towels and floor cleaning. It was easy to travel by ferry to split and the harbour area was picturesque with lovely restaurants to choose from. The beaches were not at all crowded and the crystal clear sea was perfect for snorkelling. We enjoyed our holiday so much we have booked to return next year to this tranquil location.

We stayed in one of the small statics as a family of 4 (two teenagers). Two bedrooms (one with double bed) and the other with bunks and two bathrooms. The location first of all is absolutely perfect if you like to be in a quiet area with easy access to the beach and to supermarkets. The beach is less than a 5 minute walk away. It is shingly, so as others have said, water shoes are a must. There are sun loungers which you need to pay for or you can set up your own stuff on the beach. The beach is pretty quiet at all times of the day, but especially in the morning and evening. The sea is stunning and crystal clear and there is easy access to walks around the coast line. It was lovely to be able to have a walk on a morning, sunbathe and then come back to the static for lunch. Lidl and two other big supermarkets are about a 10 minute easy walk from the beach resort. We visited a number of times over the course of our 7 day stay to stock up on supplies. Lidl has a lovely bakery stocking pizzas and fresh croissants, but you can also visit one of the many bakerys in Supertar harbour area, which is only about 15 minutes away on foot. The static was basic, but clean. Outside table and 4 chairs for dining and a rack for drying towels / clothes. We had fresh towels delivered a couple of times during our stay, but if we'd asked I don't think it would have been a problem to have more frequent changes. There is a 4 ring hob, microwave with grill (although we only noted it had a grill just before we were leaving!) and a really decent size fridge / freezer which we made the most of along with a toasty machine, kettle, tv and hair dryer. No safety deposit box in the static (but think these were available at reception) and perhaps could have done with more electric points. Supertar was lovely and we found the whole experience at Waterman very relaxing, sitting eating meals in the shade on the patio area at meal times that suited us, reading and just enjoying the peace / quiet and slower pace of life. From the reception area it looked like you could arrange to hire bikes if you wanted to. We made use of public transport and visited Milna taking the bus from the bus station which runs regularly and is air conditioned. Overall I would say this isn't 5 star luxury, but you're not paying 5* luxury prices. I have stayed in more expensive places and didn't come away feeling as relaxed as I did from this resort. If you like peace and quiet, swimming in the sea, short strolls out in evening - then this is the place to go.

We stayed in bungalow F8 at Waterman Beach Village and found it good value. The accommodation was clean and well-kept, with regular fresh towels, two bathrooms (a real bonus), decent showers and excellent air con. Beds were firm. There was a very large TV that we didn't use. The kitchenette was fine and had an electric hob, microwave, fridge-freezer and kettle, but no oven. We would have appreciated a coffee maker or cafetiere and we ended up buying kitchen scissors at Lidl, five minutes’ walk away. The patio had a table and chairs but wasn’t terribly comfortable and looked directly out to the back of another bungalow a few feet away. On the plus side, it stayed shady at lunchtime. The onsite restaurant has a lovely treetop terrace, but the food was disappointingly poor — one order for a burrito came as a burger and was sent back, only to reappear as a burger chopped up in a wrap a few minutes later. That said, the staff throughout the site were always friendly and helpful. The location is excellent: just a few minutes’ walk to a pretty pebbly beach (water shoes essential), with loungers (€6/day), trees for shade, a kiosk for drinks and ice cream, and stunning sunsets in the evenings. It’s also only a 10-minute stroll along the seafront to Supetar’s marina, ferry and restaurants. We made use of easy public transport to Bol (Arriva bus), booked a great boat trip to the Blue Cave (a highlight of the holiday), and visited Krka National Park from Split. The two pools on site were ok but very small. We did also visit the Waterman Kaktus, as our Beach Village wristbands allowed us to use the facilities. The pool there was a good size, but there was competition for the loungers. We decided to stick to the beach and sea for relaxing, swimming and snorkelling. Overall, this was a great base with plenty of flexibility, friendly staff and unbeatable sunsets. With comfier outdoor furniture and better food on site, it could be excellent.
