Waterman Beach Village camp & Glamping

Disappointing – Definitely Not a 4-Star Resort Unfortunately, I really struggle to understand how this accommodation is rated as 4-star. In my opinion, it’s 2–3 star at best. The location itself is good. There is a bit of a walk to the shops and into town, but the town is absolutely stunning and well worth visiting. Sadly, the accommodation and facilities were a real disappointment: • Beach beds are charged at €6 per person, per day, which soon adds up for a family. • The swimming pool situation is dreadful and certainly not what we expected from a supposed 4-star resort. • The rooms are basically small portacabins with very little storage. • The bathroom is extremely small, dated and had visible damage. • Cleanliness inside the accommodation was below the standard we expected from 4 star accommodation. • We were constantly having to ring for towels because the correct amount wasn't being left for our family. • The "beach bar" is little more than a fridge selling overpriced beers and soft drinks. • There is no shop on site to buy basic essentials. • The main onsite bar only opens in the morning and evening, meaning there is nowhere to conveniently get snacks, food, drinks or even a beer during the afternoon. One of the biggest disappointments is the difference between reality and what is posted online. Do not rely too heavily on the website or social media images when deciding whether to book. They have clearly been photographed and presented very creatively, because they give a much better impression of the accommodation and facilities than we experienced in reality. For the price being charged and the advertised 4-star rating, we expected considerably better. Unfortunately, we would not return or recommend staying here based on our experience. That said, Brač itself is absolutely stunning. It's a beautiful island with some fantastic towns, beaches and scenery, and we would happily return to Brač — we'd just choose somewhere else to stay next time. Very disappointed!

We stayed at a tiny house. The tiny house is modern. Also a good bed and clean bathroom. There is a private pool offered for the 8 houses. That’s a nice threat. We loved getting into the pool in the evening. There is a lovely beach with sunbeds in the shade for €6/sunbed. Midweek was calm, but in the weekend it was more crowded so not sure to get a sunbed. The camping ground is very well maintained. The gardner did a splendid job. We had breakfast included. You can choose à la carte, mainly egg-choices and pancakes but you can choose all you want. It was tasty and plenty. The cleaning staff, the young lady at breakfast and pool bar and the new employee who started this week were polite and customer friendly. Waterman Beach Village is close to the city of Supetar with lots of nice restaurants. Points of improvement: -The tiny house is indeed very very tiny. Almost no place to put two big suitcases. Since it was so cramped, I bumped my little toe and broke it… The cabinet with fridge in the “hall” could be one up to the ceiling with the fridge on the ground and a closet above. It would create space. -Daily cleaning is no cleaning. We stayed for 6 nights and our house was never cleaned. The filth stayed on the floor the whole time. If you don’t provide real cleaning, then leave a broom so we can clean ourselves. We are not snobs, we can do it ourselves. But at a camping ground you create problems without cleaning, so we had ants in our house. -Every day they changed towels what is not environment-friendly. They even changed towels that were never used. -The young, handsome man at breakfast was never friendly. Not once a good morning/bye. He could learn from his female colleague. -The service at the breakfast was some days not okay: no sugar, dirty tables, no clean placemats on the tables but used ones were offered by the young man to be turned upside down to be used again. Luckily that became a bit better when hiring a new staff member. -The left garbage at the beach side was cleaned by tourists, but not the staff. I know it’s garbage tourists left, but it’s not a task of the next visitor to clean it. The management only picked up the garbage bin but didn’t check the beach ground. That’s a pity since they have such a nice beach.

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ We're currently staying at Waterman Beach Village, and honestly, we couldn't be happier. From the moment we arrived, we've felt completely relaxed. Everything is immaculate, the accommodation is beautiful, and it's clear that the whole place is looked after with so much care. The location is absolutely perfect—just a couple of minutes' walk from the beach, which has made our holiday so easy and enjoyable. Waking up and being able to stroll down to the sea whenever we want has been amazing. The biggest highlight has been seeing how much our children have loved it here. They've had the best time, making memories we'll all cherish for years to come. It's such a safe, welcoming, and family-friendly place, and it's been wonderful watching them enjoy every minute while we were able to truly switch off and relax. Waterman Beach Village has given us everything we hoped for and more. It's peaceful, beautiful, and has such a lovely atmosphere. We genuinely don't want to leave and will definitely be recommending it to friends and family. We can't wait to come back!

We had a really nice stay at the Waterman Beach Village. The hotel was peaceful and calm and the staff was very friendly, we felt like we were a part of the family. The small house we rented behind the reception was cozy with it’s own patio outside with outdoor furniture. We really enjoyed the breakfast and a big plus for the staff for arranging a vegan breakfast spread every morning. The location of the hotel was also really good with it’s own beach, a short walk along the ocean to the city center and ferry and also close to many supermarkets. The hotel is well worth a stay and we recommend it to anyone visiting Braç.

We’ve just returned after a week’s stay in a glamping tent. I say tent, but it’s far more special than that. Gorgeous outside area, spotlessly clean, towels and bedding changed ( towels daily / bedding in the middle of our stay ). Can’t speak highly enough about the whole experience, the location is superb, the site well maintained, the staff are lovely. The local beach is a bit basic but we like a walk and the 30 min stroll to Bili Rat and Tri Mosta beaches was worth it. As in all the reviews you need beach shoes but the water is crystal clear. We went over to Split for the day on the fast ferry which was easy to book online, as was the 2 hour walking tour - an absolute must. We also hired a car on Brac for a day and visited Bol / Zlatni Rat etc. Zlatni Rat is worth seeing but overcrowded, however in the afternoon we visited Murvica Beach which was a stunning sunbed-free haven. Park in the main road car park, take some drinking water with you, it’s a very steep walk down ( and back ) but so pretty. Superb places to eat in Supetar. Apinelo and Restaurant Punta were our favourites. Really high quality and interesting menus. Beer Garden Pub was fun for drinks / burgers, and the rooftop bar above the Hotel Osam was well worth a visit. We thought this was a gem of a place, so glad we booked it and will be back
