Zaton Holiday Resort

The resort is nice, pools are good. Half board package is a joke, we have small children and the queue for food is so long it’s impossible to get food for yourself and your children unless you leave them alone for extended amounts of time which any parent will know is not an option. Customer service is non existent.

All a family & kids need in one place. Sport, fun, entertainment, food, relax, sea and beach. NOTE: before booking, check if no syndicate away days are scheduled for that period! A nightmare (people who have never seen food and drink in their lives! The restaurant is overcrowded and misses food as the syndicate members take it away and even fill in own bottles with drinks available in the restaurant 😂)

We had a fantastic stay overall and would gladly return. The resort is beautiful, very well maintained, and offers a great atmosphere for families. The facilities, pools, and entertainment were excellent, and the staff were generally friendly and helpful.

Overall, we had a good stay, but there are a few things that should definitely be improved. Unfortunately, at the swimming pools you have to pay extra for sunbeds, which was disappointing. Also, prams/strollers are not allowed inside the pool area, even when a child is sleeping. This information is not clearly mentioned anywhere during booking, which feels misleading and creates unnecessary frustration for families with small children. In our opinion, this part definitely needs improvement. Another disappointing aspect was the attitude of the staff at the pools. In general, the service felt unfriendly and overly strict with the rules, even when it concerned a 0.5-year-old sleeping child. While rules are important, a bit more understanding and flexibility for families with very young children would make a big difference. On the positive side, the pony rides and amusement area for children were great – although prices there could be a bit lower. We also really appreciated having a shop on-site with normal, fair prices instead of overly expensive resort pricing. Overall, some good family attractions, but better transparency during booking and a more family-friendly approach at the pools would improve the experience significantly.
