Amazing resort for families, it’s huge, clean, so much on offer - pools, shops, places to eat, entertainment. We had a first floor superior 2 bed apartment with a balcony and it was fantastic. It was spacious and clean, great powerful showers. Small kitchen, no oven just a hob but it all worked well. Bed was so comfortable, don’t often say that when on holiday but i wanted to bring it home! We had air-con, but even with it turned off the apartment was still cool (it was heatwave outside too). TV good, youtube etc available, music options. Reception is big and professional, service was mainly excellent. Easy to check in and out, just a big queue sometimes but they get through everyone reasonably quick. Really polite and friendly. Beach was stony/sandy and really busy, small area to sit on sand by the water and the rest of the area has a concrete platform to enter the sea. Really shallow for a long way out. Pools were amazing, multiple pools together down by the beach that were brilliant for kids (staff not too friendly sometimes but might just be me), the new big pool up past Reception was amazing - great for kids too but much more space and sun loungers available. Mimosa bar & grill and ice cream stand there was great. All staff up here really friendly and welcoming. We had half board, just the one massive restaurant with buffet options. It was heavingly busy each time but loads of food and choice. Had roast lamb, beef stew, chicken, grilled pork, fish, always chips & chicken for kids, pasta, rice dishes, risotto, salads, bread etc. Breakfast was the best - everything. Supermarket on site, not cheap but has most things. Presto! take away/restaurant great for pizza’s and to sit outside and eat if you want to. Pretty quiet and relaxing there if you have kids who don’t like noise. Taxi’s can be expensive if booked in advance but there’s Uber too which is easily available and cheaper! €6 to Nin. We tried to walk there - when we realised it’s a busy main road and no pavement for a buggy we booked an Uber and it got there in 3 mins. Friendly drivers. Would definitely recommend Zaton for a family holiday - lots for kids, and there are lots of kids there! Highly organised and professional, clean. Great accommodation, beautifully looked after area with trees and flowers, pretty pathways. It’s basically like a mediterranean-style (adriatic) Centre Parks.
All of the animation team are so nice and kind, my kids got to meet a few and they were amazing especially Iskra, Una, Patricia and mattia. There were loads of entertainment for kids and families, I put my kids in for dancing and the dance teachers were amazing and super nice they taught my kids lots of different styles of dance and they had a blast thanks to all of them. There was a few bad things which were the main pool bar servers aren't as nice there was also one of your train drivers he was extremely rude and the train should come more often cause of how far the activities and shops are, also the food wasn't as good as I expected but otherwise it was a great place to stay and i had load of fun with my family. Thank you for making our stay amazing x
The main pool is overtaken with little kids who don't follow the rules. And the lifeguard doesn't do anything about it. Most of the time the lifeguard isn't even present. There are so many kids with giant floaties that break the rules but the lifeguard never does anything. Almost all the kids are jumping into the pool despite it being against the rules and the lifeguard still does nothing despite seeing them jump.
We had a nice time staying at the resort. The kids were happy with everything. The facilities are nice and we loved the beach.
Thought this was with Eurocamp turned out to be another provider within the resort. Extra and often exorbitant prices for everything. Misleading and outdated information provided, accommodation bedrooms tiny with NO air con or blinds on balcony. Reps did not turn up at agreed time to check us out and had to wait until 4 pm to check in. Recycling facilities not emptied sufficiently often and strong smells from sewage treatment plants.
