Zaton Holiday Resort

It was great! Activities for all the members of the family, great food, excellent beach! We liked the mobile home and will certainly come back!

We visited in July 2026 and all really enjoyed the resort. We stayed in a Deluxe Family Three-Bedroom Camping Home. This was great for us the kids had separate rooms and there were 2 shower rooms/ bathrooms. Clean towels were provided half way through the 7 night stay. If you can book direct with the resort as the Eurocamp/ Roan are at the back of the resort and less option on what type of mobile home. They are also smaller and when I was looking it was cheaper direct for the space we had. We knew we had to pay for the loungers and that did not bother us as last year we stayed in Italy and we pre-booked and paid. We prefer this to any towel wars or getting up early. There are places you can set up so you do not have to pay. We ate in Nin each evening and enjoyed the stroll there and back. We rented an e-scooter for the teens on site for 4 days, went paddle boarding, inflatables. We know there are extra costs if you want to do these things as we have stayed at resorts similar to this before. Avoid the fruit shop on site - expensive! Pool cleanliness was very good. We never return to the same place as we always like to go somewhere new. But definitely one we enjoyed.

As this was our 3rd time to stay here we knew what to expect. We stayed in a 2 bedroom superior apartment. This is a good size for a family of 4. If I had to find a fault it would be the hairdryer was very poor. Other than that all facilities were great in the apartment and very clean. The grounds of Zaton are very clean and well kept. The restaurants are good but we only ate in 2 of them. The obstacle course on the beach is a great affection this year. We used it twice. The change around of shops was nice aswell seeing as we were returning for our 3rd year. Overall, would have no hesitation in recommending Zaton.

Excellent place and accommodation, but in order to rise above that, a few more little things are missing. The place where breakfast and dinner are served cannot be like a public canteen, beach chairs should not be charged extra for resort guests. Now is the time to invest additional money in relatively new apartments, in order to stay at this level.

We spent 2 nights in an ‘Essential Apartment’ with half-board service. The apartment was overused, and there was mold in the AC unit. Upon request it was maintained, but still not cleaned properly (mold stayed there). Beach and restaurant were within a short distance. Restaurant was noisy and crowded.
