Our second time back here at the hotel More which is in an excellent location, we were lucky to have the 7th floor overlooking the sea. Rooms were spacious, clean with a brilliant view. Every evening towels were changed and a chocolate left on our pillow. Reception staff welcomed us back and put the Uber app on our phone and turned WiFi on for us. Breakfast was good but evening meal and drinks are very expensive. Would definitely recommend this hotel if staying in Dubrovnik, the staff make the hotel going over and beyond. Nothing is too much for them, the staff in the restaurant at breakfast time never stop. Will be returning again without a doubt.

Me and my girlfriend booked a week stay in this hotel during the first week of the Easter holidays and had a decent but also a mixed experience The hotel itself is in a decent location with some restaurants and bars nearby, supermarkets if you need essentials, a beach etc. The hotel layout is confusing at first but you get used to it and learn it quickly. The old town is too far for a walk but you can get an uber for €7 each way or a bus for a €3 return ticket, something we only found out through other guests at the hotel. The views you get is one of the golden features of this hotel, having breakfast in the sun outside overlooking the sea was so beautiful and you’ll cherish the view for a long time. Staff were friendly but their friendliness felt overly forced at times There were a few things which gave us a mixed experience however -The breakfast was nice but was the exact same each day which got slightly repetitive after the first two days. It felt quite hectic at times when it got busy. -The indoor pool, one of the outdoor pools and spa areas were under construction/refurbishment for the majority of our stay and the hotel gave us no warning about this, only through a late notice on our TV in the room which said it would be open on the 1st April (which it wasn’t). As we were unsure of what the April weather might be like we were looking forward to using indoor facilities like this and the gym, the gym looked different to its photos on the website and had barely any equipment to use. -The biggest frustration was the huge level of noise we constantly heard from a construction site opposite the hotel, you could literally feel our room shake everytime there was some huge drilling or digging, one day it was as early as 6am. Other guests complained but were told moving to a further away room wouldn’t change much and that the hotel would charge to do this. It looks like they’re building another huge hotel/complex which won’t be completed for years I reckon (again the hotel gave us no warning about this). Please be wary of this, you may want to query this with the hotel before booking Overall a pleasant hotel with some nice features and stunning views, but the constant construction noise with no warning, half shut facilities with no warning and very repetitive/samey food gave us a mixed experience from a hotel which I would argue to be a 4 star at best

Was not expecting the poor service, room service came T 9:30 and when we told them we were still getting ready they went away and didn’t come back to make room up or tidy room even though we were out all day. Was not expecting the lack of bottled drinking water which is usually complimentary We got one bottle which was never replaced had to go to the bar and pay for bottled water at €6 per bottle, which should have been free, Also the hotel is built into the cliff with gate access to walkways and promenade, all of the entry buzzers were not working and we spent 20 minutes trying to get back into the hotel at 10pm . This is not the level of service I would expect, can’t fault the views but won’t be back
