Remisens Hotel Albatros

have just returned from a 5-night stay, and I can honestly say this hotel is nowhere near a 4-star standard. I would rate it closer to a 2-star. We booked all inclusive, but the food was absolutely disgusting. There was very little choice, food wasn’t being replenished, and the same salad appeared to be left out for the entire five days, gradually turning grey. The meat was poor quality, and there were virtually no child-friendly options apart from a soggy pizza on one evening. We ate at the hotel on our first night and then chose to eat out every night afterwards because the food was so bad. The all-inclusive drinks were equally disappointing. The cocktails came from a machine with bottles of alcohol attached, but when the bottles ran out they weren’t replaced until the following day, meaning you were left drinking sugary juice with little or no alcohol. The soft drinks machine had clearly run out of syrup, so the cola, orange and lemonade all tasted like soda water. The soft drinks themselves were cheap, watered down and unpleasant. The rooms and bathrooms were actually nice and were one of the better parts of the hotel. The cleaners replaced our towels daily, but apart from that there wasn’t much evidence of any cleaning or attention to the room during our stay. The staff at the pool bar and snack bar were incredibly rude. They acted as though making drinks was an inconvenience and made us feel unwelcome. Staff in other areas of the hotel barely acknowledged us either, which added to the poor experience. The pool area itself was decent, although it costs €8 per day to hire a sun lounger on the beach. The children’s daytime entertainment was also disappointing. There was only one member of the entertainment team trying to do everything. He had great energy and clearly did his best, but it simply wasn’t enough and fell far below what we expected from a hotel advertised as 4-star. Overall, this was a very disappointing holiday. We paid for an all-inclusive package but ended up spending extra money eating and drinking elsewhere because the hotel’s food and drinks were of such poor quality. I would not return and would not recommend this hotel if you’re expecting genuine 4-star standards.

The guy who works at the pool Dorde I think has to get more money my wife jumps in to the pool every time she see him dancing in the morning at the pool

Do not stay here. The Vibe: Run-down, unmaintained, and feels more like an old age home than a hotel. The Management: Completely heartless. We had a family emergency and had to get up early, scramble to find a new place, and check out. They still charged us for the nights we didn't use. Zero flexibility, zero empathy. Look elsewhere. The Beach: A completely awful, stony public beach that comes with an extra charge.

We are staying here at the moment our true review the good and bad thinkings about the hotel. Good Rooms are lovely bathrooms great shower loads of hot water and very clean Drinks are ok soft drinks all watered down Pools lovely Location great Sunbeds and umbrellas plenty of them Bad Food not great same old thing every day you think they would put pizzas and chips for the kid none at all Service no one has a smile we had a a couple of sunbeds around the pool one day I found some one had broken a glass they had pick the big bits up and you could see splinter of glass everywhere I told four different staff could they brush it up I even said give me a brush and l do it my self they wouldn’t give me on I waited for ages no one come so went up to reception to complain the come 20 mins later that’s not good I would stay in the hotel again but would only go room only we stayed last year at its sister hotel down the road it’s only 3 star and it’s a better hotel
