Remisens Hotel Albatros

It was a good hotel, with modern rooms, good breakfast, and stunning views! Good outdoor pool, but the indoor pool looked abandoned. The Buffet Dinner meal was very busy, with not lots of option, but again good food. Cavtat was small but peaceful. To get to Dubrovnik Old Town, it is a 40 minute scenic boat ride, where you can buy tickets inside the hotel and the dock is right outside the hotel. Beach is right outside hotel, great for swimming! Overall, a good hotel.

I went out of season, towards the end of October on a mother daughter trip. The hotel is a smidge dated but not to the point that it bothers you, and the views are outstanding across the bay! The rooms were pretty clean, and housekeeping replenished bits and bobs etc. Location wise, you can get a cheap ferry, a bus from cavtat old town or a taxi to Dubrovnik old town, making it a good option for an all inclusive hol, somewhere quiet that you can dip into Dubrovnik. Cavtat is a short walk through the bottom gates along the water, and it's really nice there, so again, great location. Downsides were that the all inclusive element didn't stretch to water (only tap water on all inclusive) and the on site shop doesn't sell large bottles either, so a bit naff there. You only get one bottle of water on arrival. plus basic cocktails like a aperol weren't all inclusive, or the branded spirits, but that's common with the spirits I suppose. WiFi all throughout free. Gym facilities are fine, just annoying to have unruly kids running about but that's parenting more than hotel surely - it's dangerous for little kids! Food was a bit hit and miss, breakfast generally sound, lunch too, but the tea sometimes had some odd menageries but that's pretty standard on all inclusive, I found something to eat most nights. It's really close to the airport only like 15/20 mins drive.

Despite contacting the hotel before hand and being assured they could cater for gluten and Dairy free. When arriving at the hotel and asking they assured we would be ok with the buffet as all allergens are labled. To our shock there was incorrect information on the cards and these disses contained allergins listed. After talking to the restaurant staff, resturant manager and emailing hotel manager it was very much dismissed. unfortunately this wasn't a one off and happened on multiple days with cheese clearly sprinkled on top of most dishes. Avoid at all costs if you are intollorant or have allergies!

I stayed at Remisens Hotel Albatros from October 20 to October 24, 2025. I really enjoyed my stay — the hotel was very clean and well organized. The check-in process was smooth and quick. I had a room with a balcony overlooking the pools and the sea, and the view was beautiful. I especially liked the breakfasts and dinners — the food was delicious and very diverse. The only small drawback for me was the absence of an iron in the room and in the hotel. Overall, it was a great experience, and I would be happy to stay here again.

This hotel has a great location with stunning views of the sea. There are level walks to the gorgeous Cavtat harbour, which has lots of great restaurants, beautiful old stone buildings and palm trees. I was told the hotel used to be an Iberostar, so it has good bones. It is fine. Its not quite what I think of when I think 4 star, its not as lush as the Hotel Croatia, but its clean, with enough amenities to be good enough. The beds are comfy, the water hot, the food standard, and the rooms clean. It looks just like the photos. The beach is very pebbly. The sea is clear. There are boats outside the hotel that will take you to Dubrovbik and back for 15 euros. Boat takes an hour in each direction, and is the best way to arrive at Dubrovnik! Cavtat and Dubrovnik are beautiful places. If youre looking for cheap beer and tribute acts though, this might not be the place for you. We stayed bed and breakfast, and this meant we were able to go into the old town and Dubrovnic (8 euros return by bus, journey time about 30 minutes)and eat out, which was part of the holiday for us.
