We booked this hotel based on the beautiful photos displayed on its website and because of the premium price it charges. Unfortunately, our experience was nothing like what was advertised. The only thing this hotel truly has going for it is its stunning beachfront location and the natural beauty of Cavtat. Everything else was a major disappointment. Although our room had been renovated, we found broken fixtures, such as damaged wall hooks, showing a lack of attention to maintenance. The hotel also has no elevator to many of the rooms, so guests are expected to carry heavy luggage up and down the stairs without any porter or luggage assistance. This is unacceptable for a hotel of this size and price. The public bathrooms near the swimming pool were shocking. The doors were damaged, swollen by moisture, peeling, dirty, and clearly neglected. These facilities looked nothing like the standard shown in the hotel’s promotional photos. The pool itself was clean, but there was absolutely no poolside service. No staff came to offer drinks or food, no one checked on guests, and even children had to walk inside to get cups of water and carry them back to the pool. This is not what anyone expects from an all-inclusive hotel. The reception experience was equally disappointing. We arrived to find the reception unattended, with no welcome, no assistance, and no sense of hospitality. The most worrying moment of our stay was when our daughter suffered a scratch. We were unable to find immediate first-aid assistance or staff to help us, which raised serious concerns about guest safety and emergency preparedness. Throughout our stay, we felt that the hotel depended on professional marketing photos that create expectations the property simply does not deliver. While some areas have clearly been renovated, the level of maintenance, customer service, and overall guest experience falls far below what the hotel advertises. For the amount we paid, we expected professionalism, attention to detail, and genuine hospitality. Instead, we left feeling disappointed and misled. Save your money and choose another hotel. Cavtat is a beautiful destination with many excellent hotels that offer better service, better maintenance, and a guest experience that truly reflects what they advertise. Unfortunately, this hotel is not one of them. We will not be returning.

Location: 10/10 The location was excellent. It was my first time visiting Cavtat, and I was truly amazed by this beautiful place. The town itself is wonderful and definitely worth visiting. Hotel & Hospitality: 1/10 Unfortunately, my experience with the hotel was very disappointing. On the first day, after checking in, it took me about 20 minutes to find my room. The hotel has many hallways, and no one at the reception offered to guide me or explain where the room was. They simply handed me the room key and expected me to find it on my own. Food & Drinks: 4/10 The food was plentiful, but the taste was below average. The soft drinks were extremely poor (0.1/10). The only positive thing was the cocktails, which I would rate 8/10. Room & Cleanliness: 1/10 The cleanliness of the room was very poor. There were spider webs, a lot of dust, and it looked like the room had not been cleaned properly. On top of that, there were many mosquitoes at night, which made it difficult to sleep. Overall: Cavtat is an amazing destination, but this hotel was a major disappointment. Apart from the great location, the hospitality, cleanliness, and food quality all need significant improvement.
