Remisens Hotel Epidaurus

Great location, close to the beach. Good hotel with nice food. Ideal for a holiday in September.

Great staff very clean and fabulous views and outdoor areas . Food was good for breakfast but very basic lunch and dinner. Evening entertainment was good fun

We booked a quiet two weeks in this hotel adt the end of thr season. After a few days of rain and high winds, the weather improved so we took to the sun beds. The pool area then filled with helium balloons so it couldnt be used. Hundreds im white tshirts arrived swarming around the pool area and beach rendering this area impossible to use. This carried on for two days. Loud rock and dance music all day and night. Stuff the people who came for their holidays.

We were anxious about our visit based on reviews of this hotel - totally unfounded. If you want a full English breakfast, maybe don't go to Croatia! That said, there was a lovely lady frying fresh eggs each morning. There was also cereal, a variety of fresh fruit, freshly made pancakes with various toppings, plenty of fresh bread for toast or sandwiches and cheese, ham etc. Room was lovely and clean and spacious (we did have a deluxe room with balcony). We found all the staff polite and friendly. Beautiful location, 15 mins easy walk to centre of Cavtat.

The staff were reluctantly friendly. The room was surface clean. There are no full double beds, as told all beds are two singles put together. Bathroom was tiny, deep clean needed really, corners, doors, skirting etc. sofa had stains. Breakfast was good. Good choices, fresh foods. Best thing power shower, balcony view, but no hangers given. Broken drawer, broken hooks to keep doors open on balcony. Just lack of maintenance really. Free tea and coffee all day with B&B. Best thing, power shower, location, breakfast, diversity of people, some staff at bar were lovely, reception bit off. Not really noisy, so handy to Cavtat which is lovely, locals friendly, boat ride to Dubrovnik lovely, water clean and lovely. Went in October and it rained and cold ish 4 days out of 7. Would definitely come back to Cavtat but not this hotel. It fitted a 3 star definitely.
