Valamar Lacroma Dubrovnik

Nice hotel the location is good it’s a bit of a walk in to Lapad via the promenade but a few bars to breck up the walk, also it’s 5 minutes to the Valamar President with its shingle beach which you can use We upgraded to V level which we where very happy with and glad we did the sunbeds and parasols at the president where free for us and the V level sun bathing area at the hotel was great very quite and nice to have water and snacks to hand and pressco hour was lovely The breckfast was lovely and relaxed and a nice start to the day really comfortable and chilled with great service far nice than the main and quite hectic breakfast area The room was nice very clean a fantastic view of the sunset (maybe a bit more storage for cases) would be good I can’t really fault the hotel the service everything was lovely Would highly recommend and would definitely go back and look at other Valamar hotels and personally would definitely upgrade to V level well worth the extra

Customer service is outstanding, everybody is trying their best to make you enjoy your vacation. The only reason I didn’t give 5 stars is because it can get quite noisy if your room is close to the pool or close to the bar where there’s music in the evening. The restaurants are great, get the half board it’s worth it.

Fantastic holiday at the Lacroma. Hotel was lovely, clean and well managed and maintained. Plenty of sun loungers throughout the day and lovely garden areas around. Pool was very clean, a great size with background music at a nice level and gorgeous views. Easy to jump on a local bus into Dubrovnik and a pretty transfer route to and from the airport. Rooms were a good size for the 3 of us, very clean. We had a side sea view with balcony on the 5th floor. We enjoyed half board for our 4 nights, plenty of choice of meat, fish, salads etc. We asked for tap water with our meals and that was fine. Some drinks ( especially soft drinks) were on the expensive side but it was easy to pop to the local shops for drinks and snacks during the day. Nice relaxed atmosphere at meals outside and we had no problems getting a table. Good pizza place 5 mins walk from the pool area. We would happily recommend and return.
