Family Hotel Vespera

If you plan to sleep, dont choose this hotel. Our kid usually goes to bed by 19:30. The dinner here starts at 19:00 only, not to mention the mini disco and live music and kids shows that begin at 20:30 and last to 22:00 and longer every day. We got room directly above the terrace dance floor, so we havent slept whole holidays (even if we actually paid for sea view more). Would be better to choose garden view, i assume it is in shade and not so much noise). I have never been to more loud and full of noise hotel, not even springbreak in Spain can compare to this. Parking is really hard to find. Not to mention the food is not kids friendly in my opinion; as kids friendly they consider mostly mcnuggets, french fries, pasta, pizza, sweets, the rest is too salty for small children. Nothing is lowered to kids height, there is no small toilet or sink anywhere, no toilet that would fit mom with stroller, only one way to the beach if you are pushing stroller. Not to mention the beach is full of goat and sheep poop. And rocks and ladders to acces water everywhere, so acceptable for good swimmers only. There are two bays with stone beach, but far from shade and one is ful of garbage. Otherwise water is nice and blue and staff is very kind, lots of shade around. Nice walkways by the beach. Some cool toys in the lobby.

I need to bo honest with that review and I need to say, that Vespera family hotel is not bad, but there are many many things in comparison to other family hotel, that can be changed. The hotel is a little bit out of the date, what means that it should be a little bit renovated. But nevertheles, you can spend a nice vacation there. A restaurant is too smile for such amount of guests. You can not even move around your table, you can not sit normaly without bouncing your chair with another guest. There are way too many tables in the restaurant. We had also a baby and we were not able to come to a table with a baby stroller which is a must thing with few months old baby. That is really annoying. Another thing is how to go to the beach? Access to the beach is through the doors near the restaurant. That is ok, no problem. But it is quite hard to open normal doors with baby stroller…always we had some friendly guests that open doors for us. But i can not believe that in 2026 there are no automatic doors, which can be really helpfull for those families with strollers. Vespera is family hotel and such things are normal. Lifts are soo small. It is ok if the family is two adults and one child. But larger family…such families needs to seperate in two parts :) Path to the paddle beach is not so short. There should me another path, through the “forest” which would shorten the way to the beach a lot. For families with babies, which need to go to the room through the hottest day of the day, would be really nice. Otherwise. Stuff is friendly, food is really good. According to all, 3/5 review, meybe 2/5 because some things which are not ok, could be changed fast.

We made a mistake , a couple of friends looking for a good hotel in Losinj. This is a 100 procent Childrens hotel. The average age of the guests is between 0 and 8 There is nothing in the way of adult entertainment / activities . Even though the rooms are spacious and of good quality , they have a maternity hospital feel to them , even down to the lime green and white colouring . The dining room needed headphones , the noise was unbearable, and very much like feeding time at the zoo.it was kaos . We asked to be moved to the neighbouring Aurora sister hotel which was more adult orientated , but at extraordinary overpriced room rates .

The hotel is set in a beautiful location, close to Veli Žal beach and Borik, surrounded by pine trees that create a unique charm. Natural beauty is definitely the strongest point of this part of Lošinj, and it makes up for many of the shortcomings. The staff is very kind, and cleanliness is at a solid level. However, there are several downsides. The food is average, while breakfast and dinner are extremely crowded and stressful. As this is a family-oriented hotel, the soundproofing is poor, so you quickly get used to constant noise – especially with loud kids’ programs such as the evening “baby disco.” The kids’ club is fine, but overall it can feel overwhelming. Prices are very high for the level of service provided. Entering the sea is also challenging, since the coast here is rocky, making the access both tiring and potentially unsafe. In short – if you’re ready to accept the crowds, noise, and high prices in general, you will still be rewarded with the natural beauty of Lošinj and the charm of its surroundings.

The hotel is quite big, which means lot of people, kids, cars, crowds, but it's not so scary. You can enjoy very active, as well as quite peacefull stay. Good points: Location is just perfect, and I mean perfect. The see is spectacular, the smell of pine trees also. Animation for the kids, and the staff in general. Breakfast is good, but could be better, and dinner is very good -always 3 different fish meals, several meat meals, and plenty of salads, fruits and vegetables. Kids have additional meals during animation period. Hygiene is ok, in the rooms, and throughout the hotel. Beer and vine are free of charge at the dinner. Average points: Parking can be tricky. The rooms are quite small. Internet connection is ok, didn't feel any slow periods around the hotel, but down on the beach, there is mostly no signal. Hotel provides beach towels and bag, but doesn't change them until 7 days. For improvement: There are a lot of staircases, especially if you are taking kids to the animation rooms, from the seeshore up to the hotel, and then down the stairs, and then again up... There should be better separation of oedestrians from cars and bikes, both on the shore, and on the road to the city.
