Hotel Kvarner

A beautiful restaurant but dreadful service and average food. The waiter cleared the table from the previous occupants and didn’t bother to clean it. Difficult to get the waiter’s attention, ordered wine which they didn’t have- left the menu for us to choose another- never came back. I ordered prawn and asparagus risotto. Did not find a single prawn in it. The waiter seemed a bit out of it…

We had a wonderful week at Hotel Kvarner in Opatija. After upgrading to a Deluxe Oceanfront Room, we enjoyed a comfortable 26 m² room with stunning sea views. The location is excellent, and we loved exploring the beautiful 12-km Lungomare promenade every day. Breakfast was very good, with freshly prepared dishes available at no extra cost. We also had dinner at the hotel twice, and both meals were excellent. The service throughout our stay was outstanding, thanks to the friendly and dedicated staff. The only drawbacks were the crowded concrete swimming platform with too few sunbeds and the noise from nearby concerts and events. Unfortunately, on our last night, loud music continued until 4 a.m. Despite these issues, we had a great stay and would definitely recommend Hotel Kvarner.

Nice hotel, but check before booking whether there is an event in the nearby arena, that will spoil your stay, due to noise and vibrations till late at night. No way to enjoy your balcony or to talk at dinner on the terrace. And no way to sleep even with earplugs.

Great hotel, best sea side view! Hotel has perfect location, food is made from high quality ingredients. Hotel personell is kind, polite and ready to assist at any time. I enjoyed my stay a lot, will come back soon. Hotel is perfect for prolonged weekend, you will energized and come back home filled with great energy

The Hotel Kvarner, Opatija was one of the most pleasant places I have ever visited. The staff were attentive, polite, and pleasant all around. The Hotel is lovely, as well as clean and comfortable. The food was fresh, well prepared and quite delicious.
