Park Plaza Verudela

Great place! The small studio is perfect for two. Good air conditioning, clean, nice bed and bathroom. And lots of storage space for clothes and toiletries. The salt water pool is big and deep with a fantastic view. Large pool and a slide for the little ones. The whole Verudela island is breathtaking, with beaches and swimming spots all over. A couple of ok restaurants, an ice cream bar and a Konsum store. There are trees everywhere, so no problem finding shade or a quiet place away from the crowds. There are nice walking paths all around the coast. Fantastic clear water. I cannot find anything to complain about. Prepare to get up early to get a sunbed by the pool. If they are taken, you can find a spot under a tree somewhere or rent a sunbed on the beach. This is a typical tourist resort, so if you want to get out of the "bubble", just walk for maybe 10 minutes to jump on the bus to Pula. Or take a walk or boat ride out to the nearby neighbourhoods or islands

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Wonderful stay — exceeded our expectations! We had a fantastic stay and really enjoyed our holiday from start to finish. The location is excellent — very convenient, with the sea, swimming pools and everything you need close by. Our flight and transfer were great, and although check-in was later than expected, we were able to get into our room shortly after 2 pm. The staff at reception were extremely friendly, polite and helpful. Everyone was welcoming and always ready to help with any questions. Our room exceeded all our expectations. We had a beautiful, very clean and well-kept room with a side sea view. The housekeeping was excellent — the room was cleaned very thoroughly and towels were changed every day. We stayed for a week and our bed linen was also changed during our stay. Everything was spotless. And the sea is absolutely amazing — crystal clear! 🐠 If you stay here, definitely bring water shoes and a snorkelling mask. We saw so many fish and had an incredible time swimming and snorkelling. We also had some wonderful experiences during our stay. We went kayaking and watched the sunset with a fantastic guide. It was such a memorable experience, and we received the beautiful photos from the tour literally the next day. There are also some lovely restaurants and bars nearby. We particularly enjoyed the pizzeria, the pool bar and the restaurant at the resort. But our favourite was the little restaurant by the yacht club, right on the pier. Beautiful location, delicious food and a really special atmosphere. We also rented bicycles, which was a great idea. We explored the whole Verudela peninsula and cycled into Pula, which was beautiful and full of character. Getting around was very easy too — buses and taxis were reasonably priced, quick and convenient. We did notice that some guests were queuing early in the morning to reserve pool loungers. However, we also noticed that even around 10–11 am there were still free loungers, so there was no real problem if you came later. We personally only used the pool once or twice because the sea was simply too beautiful to resist! There is also another lovely beach nearby — Ambrela Beach — where we enjoyed a spectacular sunset. The water was crystal clear and the entrance into the sea was very nice. Overall, we had a wonderful holiday and would absolutely recommend this hotel. Everything was comfortable, clean and convenient, and the whole experience exceeded our expectations. A huge thank you to the entire hotel team and staff for making our stay so enjoyable. Everything was truly excellent. And a special thank you to TUI as well — the package was very well organised and the price was excellent for the quality of the holiday. We would definitely come back! ❤️

Lovely place! We really enjoyed our week here as a family of four. It's in a brilliant location with a choice of stunning beaches within walking g distance, great food, well-equipped apartments, reliable bus service, friendly & professional staff (especially the lovely waiter with white hair), lots of greenery and spotlessly clean. Oh and a fabulous gelato place on site that stays open late. A visit to the aquarium is a must, especially as it is so cool on a very hot day! We would definitely return.

Beautiful seafront location with gorgeous views of the sea from both the pool, pool restaurant and our room. Good access to the sea via lots of different steps plus access to the pebble beach which has water sports and an inflatable water park. Food in all restaurants was pretty good, especially the pizza’s and burgers. Staff are friendly, rooms kept clean, shower nice and comfy beds. The resort has been made to feel like a little village with a parade of coffee shops, restaurants and shops inc a barber shop which is nice. Mini supermarket was very comprehensive and generally good value. Super easy to get into Pula old town, which is gorgeous and well worth a few visits for €2, bus comes every 20 mins. Negatives did not detract from our enjoyment but were: sunloungers hard to get if you want one after 10.30am or before 4pm and some rude holiday makers. But you’ll get both of those anywhere!!!!!

Just returned following a 7 night stay. We had the most amazing time, the whole area is stunning, clean with the most perfect views. Celebrating a special birthday and the hotel left some lovely complimentary gifts which we thought was a nice personal touch. The only downside to the week was our room not being ready upon arrival until gone 3pm, we had arrived at around 11am so I would recommend being prepared for this. We ventured out into pula many times, this was an easy bus ride only costing just over 2 € pp, there are some lovely restaurants to try. We would definitely return to this hotel.
