Beautiful hotel clean great staff Food not to my taste but always found something just a shame it closed an was sent to the dump that is the narcissos waterpark

We have stayed for 10nights the hotel is immaculate rooms are clean and newly renovated bathrooms with walk in shower also newly renovated no storage for longer clothing rooms bit on the small side but we managed ok plenty of electric points and a refrigerator in room. Pool area plenty of sunbeds no problem getting one any time of day but we were out of season. The staff at the hotel work tirelessly the bar area is small but OK with the number of people during our stay. The food is the only negative plenty of choice at breakfast hot cooked english (but all food was luke warm or cold) continental breakfast available Other meals were a let down little choice of hot food all food luke warm and most in sauces salads plenty of choice. Alcoholic drinks not to our liking but thats a perrsonal chouce.Restaurant times limited. But we enjoyed our stay as this is a 3 star hotel we didn't expect the ritz standard of food if you go with that in mind and go out see a bit of the resort and enjoy meals elsewhere

My hotel got changed to this one, and as it was in the same area-Pernera-I was fine with the change. Upon arrival, during and after my holiday, I was more than happy with the change. The hotel is newly refurbished and this is obvious throughout. Upon arrival, you're given a cute bottle with your name on it-a nice touch- though this is probably in the hope that you use this to fill up your drinks-I have a 1lt Sho bottle 😜. As I arrived late on the first day, I headed to the bar, and was pleasantly surprised to receive a proper glass of wine-I definitely didn't need another glass. Even in 5* resorts, the stinginess of the servings is laughable. I don't want to drink a lot, but I want 1 decent drink. The staff seemed pleasant-though I'm always cautious, especially at the beginning of the holidays, as you can get the uncomfortable pervy one's. Well, throughout the holiday, the staff were really good-hard working, pleasant & approachable. Obviously, some staff are better than others, but overall, a good set of staff. I was again pleasantly surprised that upon waking on my first day, that I had a seaview. No, it's not by the sea, but was in the distance and lovely to wake up to. The room itself was of reasonable size and probably one of the most tech rooms I've been in-just handy things like your charger wire could go straight into the wall and Netflix on the TV. These aren't needs, but nice added touches-and remember that this is a 3* hotel. I really liked the location of this hotel, though guests wanting to be totally central and don't want to/can't walk 10 minutes to the centre/beach, it would not be so ideal. The beach is less than 10 minutes walk away and is a lovely spot. No, it's not white sands, crystal blue water, but I really liked it. It has enough people on it, without being crowded-i've heard @ the weekends all beaches are packed, as the locals go aswell. There were toilet/changing facilities, it was clean and enough sunbeds-this wasn't quite peak season though. It's 2.5 euros a day for a sunbed(more with a sunbrella)-that a guy comes round to collect. DO NOT MOVE THE SUNBEDS-the guy literally looses his shxt-quite an over reaction for a sunlounger that you pay for. Anyway, back to the hotel. It's location to the centre of Protaras is about a 10 minute/15 minute leisurely walk away. I found this ideal as you don't get the busyness/noise of a central location, but it's all there to pop into. There are a few shops ect several minutes away from the hotel and the bus stop is the same. Bus information is available from reception. The food at the hotel is alright to be fair. Obviously, it's not going to suit everyone, but I was there for 3 weeks and enjoyed the food. I tended to sit outside, which was nice, especially as this is a rarity back home. One failure was that the restaurant didn't always open on time and this was often. I don't have all the meals, but everytime that I was getting food at the time the restaurant opened, it could be 10/15 minutes until it opened. This would then create ques for the food stations, which became quite annoying after it happened a few times. The facilities around the hotel are good, not amazing-again, no complaints with a 3* hotel. At times, it became crowded around the 2 pools and could take about 5 minutes to find a sunbed. They were decent sized pools-Ideally, I would have liked one to be a normal holiday pool and the other a relaxing pool, but there were too many people for this. There looked to be a decent sized children's pool under construction-this would be most definitely needed during peak times/school holidays. There are bit's of entertainment areas, like table tennis ect, with a small lounge with tv. They actually play Football games on the TV upon request, though I decided against this as a kid was normally hogging the remote all the time, so I'd go out of the hotel to watch Football games. There was the normal water polo on in the pool at set times, though I didn't really notice much else going on. At night, it looked like the odd small show/music was on-nothing Wow. I just went to one of these, which was alright, nothing I'd change my plans for. There is also a gym, which is pretty good. It has all the machines you probably want and a good selection of weights. It also opened early-can't remember the time but not a silly time of 9am, which would mean that you would miss your breakfast if you went to the gym. Overall, for the budget price I paid for this hotel, I was very happy with it. It's definitely not 5*, though it's most definitely not 3*... I'd say a good 4* hotel, that I'd give 8/10 for, especially for what I paid.

We are currently in this hotel and overall the hotel is clean rooms are comfortable staff are very helpful food is a major problem mostly rice salad roast potatoes and cauliflower make up most of the meals dessert s are mostly jelly or mouse.. A lot of things are burnt and everything is cold. Iv been here 4 days and every day I had to ask for food to be warmed up as no microwave in dinning area won't be coming again

Extremely clean throughout every part of the hotel, our twin room was a decent size although balcony was a bit small and nothing to dry swim wear etc, on. Nice size bathroom and walking shower. AC was good. Free safe in the wardrobe but limited depth for hanging clothes so dresses creased at the bottom. Good quality bedding and fluffy towels. Rooms cleaned daily although slight concern our door not fully closed on two days after cleaning, both times reported. Easy checkin and lovely gift of an aluminium water bottle for each guest with names on so able to refill at water stations around the hotel. Restaurant kept wonderfully clean, inside and outdoor tables. Reasonable choice of food so not overwhelming. Good selection of salad items. Meat, fish and pasta dishes every meal plus a children’s section (very few children in the hotel as not school holidays) but this area very busy with adults! Waiter service for drinks. Bar - good choices and fabulous cocktails made freshly by the wonderful staff, staff everywhere were excellent and worked hard. Pools 2 were lovely and a splash/slide one is being built for next year. Nice number of sunbeds and there is lots of room for more, so hopefully in peak season there should be plenty for everyone. Entertainment was low key but the main man was really enthusiastic and great fun. Hotel isn’t actually in Protaras but a short bus away or about a 20/25 minute walk along sea front. Easy walk to the beach front and a lovely walk both ways, sea is lovely. We would definitely return.
