We loved everything about the resort and had one of the best beach vacations with our child. The room was spacious, clean, had necessary fittings and furnishings, great sea view from balcony. The beach was sandy, ideal for my 4 year old son to play on the sand and for us to take him to the sea gradually. The main pool was heated and cosy, with adult and kids sections. The aqua park rides for both adults and kids were great and were mostly heated, we had so much fun. The food was great too, with plenty of options. Cocktails were average, could have been better. The 24/7 cafe shop was brilliant, had very good collection of cakes and sweet pastries. Ice cream available in the afternoon. The staff were nice and friendly. The animation team was very active, lots of events for kids and adults. Not the resort's fault but couple of negatives in my view. 1) the snorkeling on site was below average. There are few corals (half dead) and a few schools of fish in couple of spots but nothing much. 2) The second issue is the impossibility of finding sunbeds around the beach or pool unless you block them at 6 am. We could find sunbeds in the back rows only when I ran to block them at 7 after learning lessons the hard way

I stayed at Beach Albatros Resort for three nights as part of a tour of Egypt. I’m not usually a fan of resorts, and staying here has largely reaffirmed that view. The resort itself is extensive, featuring numerous swimming pools, bars, restaurants, water parks, mini golf, tennis courts, and more, offering plenty of on-site activities. My experience with the staff was somewhat mixed. The reception staff I interacted with were generally unhelpful and came across as indifferent. Check-in was also surprisingly slow, taking around 25 minutes while I was left waiting in the reception area without my passport, which was frustrating. In contrast, the majority of the waiting staff in the restaurants were excellent—polite, attentive, and very helpful throughout my stay. The room (2025) was spacious, clean, and comfortable, although fairly basic in terms of décor. It included a mini fridge and tea/coffee-making facilities, providing everything needed for a short stay. The air conditioning worked well, as did the Wi-Fi, and the room was serviced daily as requested. The bathroom was also spacious and well maintained; the only minor drawback was that the shower pressure was slightly weak. The buffet-style restaurants were perfectly fine, offering food of decent quality that was consistently replenished. However, the queues were often quite long, which detracted from the overall experience. As mentioned previously, the waiting staff in the buffet restaurants were pleasant, attentive, and provided good service throughout. The restaurant dining areas were also uncomfortably warm, which made dining less enjoyable. Booking a table at the à la carte restaurant was a different matter altogether - ‘hassle’ would be an understatement. Reservations could only be made 24 hours in advance, between 11:00am and 12:00pm, and you were required to choose your meal at the time of booking. This meant queuing just to make a reservation, and when I eventually reached the front, I discovered there were no vegetarian options available, so I had to cancel. The whole process felt unnecessarily restrictive and poorly organised. I used the gym once during my stay, but unfortunately it was far too hot to do anything meaningful. The lack of adequate air conditioning made it quite uncomfortable, which limited how long I could use the facilities. While the gym itself appeared reasonably equipped, the temperature made it difficult to fully make use of it. Another downside was that the billiards/pool tables were charged at €5 per hour, which didn’t feel in keeping with an all-inclusive experience. While the resort offers lots of pools, activities, and attentive restaurant staff, rude reception, slow check-ins, confusing à la carte bookings, and uncomfortable dining and gym areas made my stay disappointing. Overall, I would not recommend Beach Albatros Resort.
