Creek Hotel & Residences El Gouna

El Gouna is a beautiful, clean, and very safe resort, but the actual location of the hotel was disappointing. The part of the bay where the hotel is located is reserved exclusively for water skiing. Because of this, it is practically impossible to go swimming in the sea. Pros: * El Gouna itself feels very safe and clean. * The hotel is relatively small and very quiet, which suited us perfectly. * You can get to the town from the hotel by tuk-tuk in just 10 minutes, which was a really fun way to spice up our holiday. * The food was very good. * The cleanliness of the hotel is at a good level (about 4 out of 5), and the common areas were fine. * The rest of the staff (except for the bartender) was very nice and helpful. Cons: * A very unhelpful bartender by the pool. Despite our paid All Inclusive program, he refused to make more than one drink per person. Moreover, he served drinks without ice, which was completely undrinkable in that Egyptian heat. * A major violation of privacy. Several times, the cleaner knocked on our door before 9 AM, and he even opened it with his keycard and walked in while we were still asleep. * The rooms could use a bit more care and technical maintenance – for example, replacing old seals. Overall, the hotel has a great location in a safe resort with good access to the town center, very tasty cuisine, and a pleasant, quiet atmosphere. However, the poor access to the sea, the technical condition of the rooms, and especially the restrictions on All Inclusive services at the bar quite ruined our impression of the holiday.

The place is magneficent and the personnel is very careful with everyone. The food was variate and very tasteful. Drinks and cocktails at the bars complete your enjoyement. Mr Eid, you are the best.

We had a wonderful stay and would definitely recommend this hotel! 😊 From the moment we arrived, the staff were incredibly friendly, welcoming, and helpful. Everyone always greeted us with a smile and made us feel very comfortable throughout our stay. The rooms were beautiful, clean, and well maintained. A special thank you to Mohammed, who took care of our room. He was such a kind, friendly, and positive person, and it was always a pleasure to see him. He did a great job ❤️😊 The food was also very good, with plenty of tasty options, and the whole hotel area was a great place to relax. We really enjoyed the pool, but we also loved spending time by the lagoon – it was so peaceful and perfect for simply lying down, relaxing, and enjoying the atmosphere. We would also like to give a special mention to Tamer, one of the waiters. He was always extremely friendly, attentive, and welcoming. His positive attitude and kindness really stood out and made our meals even more enjoyable. Thank you, Tamer! 🍀🫶🏼 The location is also great. El Gouna is such a beautiful and peaceful place, perfect if you really want to switch off, relax, and enjoy your holiday away from the crowds and noise. Overall, we had a really lovely experience – great food, beautiful and clean rooms, a relaxing pool and lagoon area, a wonderful location, and most importantly, an amazing team of people who made us feel welcome from the very first day. Thank you to the whole team for making our first holiday in Egypt so enjoyable. We would happily come back! ❤️

Creek is a small, family-style hotel with very friendly and helpful staff. Overall, we enjoyed our stay, especially the excellent food and the kind attitude of the staff. The reception team was particularly lovely and always willing to help. The hotel is quite small, and it seems that it is not fully prepared for a larger number of tourists. The biggest issue for us was the lobby bar during lunch and dinner. The waiting time for drinks was extremely long. Very often, something was missing – lemons, limes, glasses, etc. Sometimes we had to wait a very long time just to get a drink, which was quite frustrating. On the other hand, the beach bar deserves a special mention. The bartenders there were the best in the hotel – friendly, quick and always smiling. Great service! The beach itself is quiet and pleasant, perfect for relaxing. I would recommend bringing water shoes, as the entrance into the sea is not very comfortable. Overall, we enjoyed our stay. If you are looking for a smaller, quiet family hotel with friendly staff and excellent food, Creek is a good choice. However, the service and organization at the lobby bar definitely need improvement, especially when the hotel is busy.
