Hilton Plaza Hurghada

The hotel is overall very fine, but there was no ice cream at the buffet, it needs fixing!!! And disgusting cakes!!! But the rooms and the view was very nice🥰

Fantastic holiday and a fantastic stay. Second time here and the fact staff remember your name and details about you that were in conversation last year just shows the genuine attention to detail. Special mention to Ali Faisal (life guard) what a gentleman and an all round genuine guy. Takes time out his day just to make you feel welcome & off shift we bumped into him at the shops seemed super happy to see us and again take time out of his personal time just to catch up. Lots of reviews about staff who help and can be helpful but a lifeguard is a someone you hope to never need and often falls by the wayside when it comes to reviews so thought I would take time out to mention him as he took lots of time in and out of uniform for us both.

We're currently staying at the Hilton (room 259) and are on day three of our holiday. Unfortunately, after the first day or so, we've started to notice a number of issues that are having a real impact on our stay. The biggest problem is the lunch and dinner service. Every day we've spent around 20 minutes walking around trying to find a table for our family with two young children. Even once we've found one, it often hasn't been cleared, so we then have to wait for a member of staff to clean it. On two occasions, we've taken our drinks to a table, gone to collect our food, and returned to find other guests sitting there. This has left us searching for another table, with our food going cold and our drinks left behind. The whole dining experience feels disorganised and unnecessarily stressful. The daytime snack options are also very limited. Aside from a hot dog and fries, there isn't much available, particularly for children. Ice cream is available between 3–5pm, but otherwise there are very few child-friendly snack options. We've found ourselves going to the supermarket across the road instead. Another issue is the lack of baby changing facilities around the pool and beach areas. As far as we've found, the only facilities are in the main building, which isn't convenient for families spending the day by the pool. Cleanliness around the Clownfish Pool also needs attention. Empty cups are rarely collected throughout the day, and this morning there were still lunch plates, sauce packets and cups on the floor around the only bin from the previous day. Finally, we visited the evening entertainment by the beach for the first time last night. For the first hour there was no drinks service at all. Eventually, a temporary drinks station was set up, but only warm bottled water and soft drinks were available—without any ice. In the heat, this was very disappointing. We're raising these points while we're still here because we'd genuinely like to see them addressed during our stay. The hotel has many positives, but these operational issues are significantly affecting what should be a relaxing family holiday. If the services was better I think the hotel could be rated a 4. It’s definitely not 5*

I rate my stay as very good. The hotel is beautifully situated near coral reefs and has its own private beach. In the evenings, we could see dolphins and tons of crabs migrating on the beach. The area around the hotel was super clean inside and in the rooms also very clean HUSSIEN was responsible for cleanliness. He was a kind and helpful man, always welcoming with a smile. I congratulate the Hilton Hotel for having such people.
