Hurghada Marriott Beach Resort

So I want to start at the very beginning of this trip as there is alot to talk about. This was booked via easyjet Holidays and I am a seasoned Marriott traveller. I am lucky enough to stay at Marriott hotels all over the world so this was indeed an exciting prospect for our 1st holiday of 2026. Arrival was nice quick transfer to hotel. Check In was good although I was surprised not to receive more indepth information about the hotel, the facilties and the fact that the main and biggest restaurant was not open but under refurbishment. A heads up would have been appreciated. The Room was decent with a nice sea view... its an old marriott property but functional with everything needed. Handy to have an iron in the room but lacked the marriott goodies..bathrobes and nice creams etc. The safe worked which is always important. The room cleaners were great and we always came back to a nice cool clean room.. The food is pleasant, good choices , table layout is abit formal , but this is because the main restaurant is closed. I can't really fault the food although some of the staff serving it need a crash course in customer service. One or two are extremely miserable and should probably look for another career. Hotel beach area is private and nice , good selection of loungers nice bar staff. The only lunch option is the main restaurant although there is Surf and Turf where you can pay for food. Honestly the food was fine the service was shocking, wrong drinks lack of interest by the staff ...I would have that sorted as a priority and it could be a really cool place to hang out. The Gym- Great selection of equipment, access any time although if before 7.30 am no air-conditioning so quite hot and worse no water fountain or water available a real no no for any gym. Sunset Bar... again ok not that exciting , no real entertainment in the evening but pleasant views and nice to relax in. Outside the complex is not pretty, its rough and lots of scam taxi drivers or not taxi drivers looking to approach.. a few shops nothing really pre disposing ...not at all like Makadi Bay. For me I was little disappointed, I expected Rixos standard or above it is not ... in an area with lots of hotel and resorts i would look very carefully at the location and offering before deciding to return. That said it was a nice break.

I would like to recognize an exceptional supervisor at this Marriott property, Ms. Hajar Shohdy - Guest Relations) whose leadership, professionalism, and kindness made an enormous impact on my family’s stay and celebration. From the moment we arrived, she demonstrated the kind of leadership that elevates an entire hospitality team. She was the lynchpin behind ensuring my family had a beautiful and memorable birthday celebration, and her dedication went far beyond what anyone could reasonably expect. Most remarkably, she personally answered my call at midnight while she was off shift to ensure my family was appropriately settled and cared for. That level of ownership, responsiveness, and genuine care is incredibly rare. What stood out equally was the respect her staff clearly has for her. It was obvious she leads by example — calmly, professionally, and with extraordinary kindness. The team responded to her with trust and admiration, which speaks volumes about the culture she creates around her. In a world where great customer service is increasingly uncommon, she reminded my family what true hospitality looks like. Marriott is fortunate to have someone of her caliber representing the brand. Leaders like her are not simply good supervisors — they are the people who strengthen guest loyalty, inspire teams, and deserve recognition and advancement within the organization. Please ensure her efforts and leadership are acknowledged. She made our celebration truly special, and my family will always remember her kindness and professionalism.

Our stay at the Marriott Hurghada was absolutely exceptional from start to finish. The hotel exceeded all our expectations with its beautiful location, outstanding hospitality, and attention to every detail. The rooms were spotless, comfortable, and offered breathtaking views, while the atmosphere throughout the resort was relaxing and luxurious. What truly made our experience unforgettable was the incredible staff — Special thanks to Hajar for her tremendous recommendations, Mina for his lovely smile, Nardine for her beautiful escort to the room, and last but not least our wonderful Samy from Housekeeping who kept our room tidy and clean with his beautiful touches. Everyone was welcoming, professional, and genuinely caring, always making sure we felt at home. The food was delicious with plenty of variety, and the service was excellent. Almost forgot about Rania with her warm greetings at the restaurant. The beach and pools were perfectly maintained, creating the ideal place to relax and enjoy every moment. Every part of our stay felt special, and we created memories we will never forget. Thank you to the entire Marriott Hurghada team for such a wonderful experience. We will definitely return and highly recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a perfect vacation in Hurghada!

We had a very good stay here! As Americans traveling to a place we had never been we felt very welcomed and safe here. Room was very clean, we had a great view, the buffet was delicious! Everything you need is at this resort, we will definitely be back. The management and employees all treated us very well!

I had a great stay at Marriott Resort Hurghada and enjoyed everything. Special thanks to Ebram, the bartender, for his amazing service and positive attitude — he truly deserves recognition from the management. Only a few areas for improvement: the AC was noisy, and some parts of the hotel could need renovation. Overall, a wonderful experience.
