Hurghada Marriott Beach Resort

Thanks to Rania and Salah for making our stay so special — we were treated like queens. They are incredibly helpful and lovely people. The food is excellent and the place is beautiful. The staff responds to every request we have. I highly recommend this hotel without hesitation, so don’t think twice about booking your stay here.

The entire hotel staff, from the kitchen, the security and security staff, the reception and the guys who cleaned the rooms...they were superlative... THEY IMPRESSED ME TO THE MAXIMUM! Special thanks to RANIA from the RECEPTION! I THANK THEM FROM THE HEART!

So I want to start at the very beginning of this trip as there is alot to talk about. This was booked via easyjet Holidays and I am a seasoned Marriott traveller. I am lucky enough to stay at Marriott hotels all over the world so this was indeed an exciting prospect for our 1st holiday of 2026. Arrival was nice quick transfer to hotel. Check In was good although I was surprised not to receive more indepth information about the hotel, the facilties and the fact that the main and biggest restaurant was not open but under refurbishment. A heads up would have been appreciated while the temporary restaurant was fine it was not as advertised. The one lift that was functional wasn't great to be honest. The Room was decent with a nice sea view... its an old marriott property but functional with everything needed. Handy to have an iron in the room but lacked the marriott goodies..bathrobes and nice creams etc. The safe worked which is always important. The room cleaners were great and we always came back to a nice cool clean room.. The food is pleasant, good choices , table layout is abit formal , but this is because the main restaurant is closed. I can't really fault the food although some of the staff serving it need a crash course in customer service. One or two are extremely unhappy and should probably take some further training. Hotel beach area is private and nice , good selection of loungers nice bar staff. The only lunch option is the main restaurant although there is Surf and Turf where you can pay for food. Honestly the food was fine the service was shocking, wrong drinks lack of interest by the staff ...I would have that sorted as a priority and it could be a really cool place to hang out. The Gym- Great selection of equipment, access any time although if before 7.30 am no air-conditioning so quite hot and worse no water fountain or water available a real no no for any gym this was however corrected quickly. Sunset Bar... again ok not that exciting , no real entertainment in the evening but pleasant views and nice to relax, if you want diary and nightly entertainment this hotel isn't for you. Outside the complex is not pretty, its quite rough and lots of scam taxi drivers or not taxi drivers looking to approach.. a few shops nothing really pre disposing ...not at all like Makadi Bay. For me I always ask the question would we visit again? We would , once the restaurant issue is resolved, its a good hotel for a 7 day restful holiday.

A Birthday Saved: Thank You, Rania! The Marriott Beach Resort is undeniably beautiful — that's a given. But what truly brings a place to life are the people who go above and beyond. And this is exactly that kind of story. I want to express my deepest gratitude to Rania. The staff here are generally polite and helpful, but she, on top of that, is an exceptional professional. The situation was stressful: it was my pregnant wife's birthday, and I had completely forgotten to arrange the cake I had promised her. All the usual options seemed to hit a dead end, and I was really upset. Then she appeared. Rania didn't just listen to my problem; she solved it. That incomparable smile… but behind it hides incredible efficiency. She didn't refuse. Instead, she used all her connections within the hotel. By the next day, a fresh and beautiful cake was in our room. And it wasn't just a dessert — it was a little island of joy for my wife.

This was a last minute holiday for us and we are glad we chose here. This hotel ticks every holiday box. The staff were amazing from the minute we arrived. Many thanks to Salah for this. He was fantastic. The food was varied and catered for every need. The hotel has its own private beach and never a problem finding a sunbed. Beach was well looked after and clean. The bridge over to the island was brilliant and great to walk over and look at the yachts. We had a massage here and couldn’t think of a better location. Rooms were cleaned daily and great view of the sea. Final mention to the animation team who never pushed the guests for anything but did a great job. Yaya was so friendly and always had a smile on her face as you can see from the photo. This hotel was sold on us and we will definitely go back next year. Thanks for a great two weeks
