Jaz Makadi Aquaviva. Firstly let me say that is an exceptionally clean hotel with all the staff working tirelessly to please all guests. The food is plentiful and cater for all allergies with good food cards on 95% of the food. However, as in every hotel there are a few negatives. There aren’t any lifts. Fine if you are able bodied but if not, you need to contact the hotel before hand to make them aware of disability or walking difficulties. Secondly (and this may not bother the majority of people) but the hotel, when we were there in March, was dominated by German families. There’s not a lot of seating at night and as it is very cold sitting outdoors (March) to watch the entertainment, so inside seats get populated very quickly. When I was there they only had indoor entertainment 1 night which was a lady saxophonist. The rest was outdoors. Rooms very clean. (We were in 1203 overlooking gardens, entrance & Golf course) Maintenance very quick to rectify any problems. Customer relations very tentative and called our room half way through the holiday to enquire if there were any problems. Showers and bathroom very slippy when wet so would be a good idea to take a shower mat in your suitcase. Towel works just as well but shower mat would be better. Beds comfy. Plenty of towels changed daily. Beach towels changed every evening. Housekeeping every day. 2 glass bottles filtered Water daily. Free safe in room. HDMI slot in our tv. Tea and coffee making facilities but no milk provided in rooms, you have to bring milk up from restaurant which is not a problem when you keep it in the room fridge. Bathroom extraction system extremely noising during the day but switched off at night. (On 7am- 7pm). TUI Tours are expensive and cheaper to use local companies. WiFi in hotel and at beach very good. Bus to beach every half hour. The beach run is only 1 1/2 miles and takes no longer than 10 mins. You cannot really walk to the beach as there aren’t any paths so would have to walk on road. Beach has designated areas for different hotels but you get free drinks and food from the Jaz snack bars. Pools very clean. Lots of sunbeds. Aquapark amazing but remember no jewellery (Watches,Bracelets, necklaces) allowed. (Earrings are fine) Adult only rooftop pool very nice but can be quite cold with the wind (March) with drinks and snacks available in this area. Gym a good size with Technogym equipment. Spa do lots treatments and reasonable prices. Swim up rooms in shade After 10am so don’t waste your money. Most Pools heated Oct to Apr. Lastly every single person working in this hotel are amazing, from the men who constantly sweep and mop the hotel floors and who probably go un-noticed (they are there watching and as soon as someone drops something on the floor, they are there like little ninjas to clean it up) to the waiters, the bar staff, guys on waterpark making sure you are safe and asking after you constantly to make sure you are ok, management constantly talking to guests asking if everything is ok. Guest relations. Reception staff and even the bus drivers constantly ferrying people backwards and forwards to the beach. The staff are always smiling and make you feel as if you are the only guest. I cannot praise the hotel staff enough.
Thank you hossam for keeping the rooms spotless 👌 Room 2103
Once again another fantastic holiday at this hotel you can’t fault anything here, the location is great the rooms are a very good size very clean and well looked after the cleanliness at this hotel is second to none great atmosphere around the pools or if you want less noise there is an adult’s only pool upstairs with its own restaurant serving excellent food, great value for money this is our 5th visit and will certainly not be our last. The only downside at the moment is the venue for the entertainment if you are not seated early you don’t get a very good view but I was assured the new staging area will be opened soon. All in all another great holiday this is my personal view if you want to put your view forward go and try it for yourself I don’t think you will be disappointed.
Amazing hotel, friendly staff, great entertainment and we absolutely love the waterpark. The food is some of the best we've had in any hotel anywhere. The swimming pools are lovely and there is lots of sunbeds to choose from.
This hotel has been amazing. It’s so clean, tidy and modern. Pools are spotless and the lifeguards are cleaning all day! Animation team are so friendly. Food might be the best food I’ve had in an all inclusive. Fancy drinks. Rooms lovely and modern. Guest services called up to see how we were and if we wanted anything. Easy bus to the beach and shops in the complex. Shoutout to David from animation team. Weather at this time of year is perfect, a nice breeze to keep you cool in the day, just need a light jacket at night. Would definitely return to this hotel!
