JAZ Makadi Oasis Resort

We spent two amazing weeks at Jaz Makadi Oasis and we’ll definitely be back! The food was superior, service excellent, location great, and we always felt safe. Lifeguards and Ahmed El Tatty at the pool were very attentive and really cared about guest safety. Beach chairs were easy to find even during busier hours. Aquapark requires short shuttle bus trip but it’s worth - a lot of fun there! The beach itself is a lovely surprise - beautiful fish easy to spot right from the shore. The spa was really pricey, but the quality was good. Special thanks to Saied - towel-art master who took amazing care of us and was always kind and helpful. Big thanks also to Salah, El Tayeb and the whole pool bar team for their great service, attentiveness, and the tasty pizza! Big thanks to the restaurant team, especially Mohamed and Yasser, for their warmth and excellent service throughout our stay. Shoutout to the entertainment team too, especially Afro, Nono, and the tall dancer who’s clearly the best on the floor 😉 We felt truly at home here. Highly recommend Jaz Makadi Oasis! Last but not least - WiFi - free WiFi available everywhere including the beach.

We recently returned from a wonderful holiday at this resort. The entire complex feels highly secure, the internet works flawlessly throughout the property, and the warm, attentive staff made us feel incredibly welcome from day one. Our Highlights: Beach & Snorkeling: The beach features a great food/drink corner, and the coral reef directly offshore offers spectacular snorkeling. Pools & Entertainment: The pools are fantastic, and the night shows are highly engaging. A massive bonus is the freedom to visit neighboring JAZ hotels to watch their evening shows, offering great variety. Free Aqua Park: Access is fully included, and the regular 15-minute hotel shuttle bus makes getting there effortless. A Zero-Cost Improvement for Gluten-Free Guests While the overall food quality was great, the setup for gluten-free guests needs a quick logistical fix. Currently, the "Gluten-Free Corner" often features only jello and bread. Meanwhile, the kitchen is already baking amazing gluten-free treats like coconut cake, crème brûlée, and various mousses (chocolate, caramel, cherry) but they are being scattered randomly among the normal desserts. This makes them easy to miss, creates a cross-contamination risk from shared utensils, and turns dessert into a lottery. My Recommendation: Centralize the Cakes: Move the coconut cake, mousses, and crème brûlée out of the normal section and physically place them inside the Gluten-Free Corner. The "Rule of 3": Ensure a rotation where there are always at least 3 distinct gluten-free treats available there, rather than just jello. Since the kitchen already makes these items, this change costs the hotel zero extra money, protects guests from cross-contamination, and would immeasurably improve the experience for the roughly 10% of travelers with gluten intolerances. First time in hurghada and haves loved every minute of spending it here at the Oasis with my family . Already looked at booking to come back next year . Staff cannot do enough for you , everyone is so welcoming . Thanks for a great time !!

Friendly staff and good location BUT if you’re looking for an all inclusive avoid this hotel. My partner and I were continually told ‘extra charge’ for example: Gymnasium - 10 euros per visit Sauna - 10 euros per visit Jacuzzi - 10 euros per visit Local Sparking wine which cost 6 euros a bottle - 42 euros! We were allowed only one visit to the à la carte restaurant which is not unusual but had to pay extra for our drinks despite being all inclusive. Constantly harassed by staff to buy trips. 7 separate time is one morning. We were interested in the hamann massage and were quoted 65 euro each. This was reduced instantly to 45 euros when we said that too much. Felt like we were being ripped off the whole time.
