JAZ Makadi Oasis Resort

​We had an absolute blast during our stay at Jaz Makadi Oasis Resort! It is truly a wonderful place, especially if you are traveling with family. From the moment we arrived, the staff made us feel warmly welcomed and looked after throughout our entire holiday. ​While the whole resort experience was top-notch, the absolute highlight for us was the food. The quality, variety, and taste of the meals exceeded our expectations every single day. There was always something fresh and delicious for both adults and kids, with plenty of options even for picky eaters. ​The hotel grounds are beautiful, the pools are great, and the family-friendly atmosphere made it super easy for us to relax and enjoy our time together. We couldn't have asked for a better holiday. ​A huge thank you to the whole team at Jaz Makadi Oasis for making our stay so special. We will definitely be back!

Let’s start off with the hotel itself.. this I cannot fault. The staff are unbelievable!! They are so kind & friendly, there is nothing that is too much trouble for them. I advise leaving your housekeeper a small tip each day, their towel artwork is amazing!! Every single person works so hard, everything is clean and tidy, you really couldn’t ask for more. The waterpark.. we only visited the water park once for about an hour. I strongly suggest taking water shoes with you as the ground is scolding hot, unfortunately we didn’t have water shoes with us so we didn’t return, it did look like lots of fun though, and the snack bars are good with lots of options. They do get very busy with long queues though. The beach.. as someone who is terrified of the sea and I hate sand, the beach is lovely. It is very crystal clear water, there are plenty of loungers and not too far out there is a small coral reef with great snorkelling opportunities that my partner and son thoroughly enjoyed. The snack bar at the beach is far superior to the one in the hotel too. A La Carte.. now this is a bit of a nightmare, you have to scan a QR code to book the à la carte however you can only book 48 hours in advance. I was checking every day, just after midnight, first thing when I woke up, before going to bed and nothing was available. Finally in our second week we managed to get into the Aqua restaurant, which wasn’t our first choice but was lovely, it did seem very rushed. We were in and out within an hour, there wasn’t any time in between courses arriving. Now let’s get to the negative.. the Egyptian belly. Our whole family of 3 have suffered with this, unluckily I myself had been really poorly for 10 days out of 14. Whilst I know that it is common for people who travel to Egypt to develop ‘travellers sickness’ mine has been the worst I have ever experienced. I was given 3 different medications from the pharmacy, electrolytes, I followed googles suggestions of what to eat and drink and it’s been non stop. Now this may not be any fault of the hotel, I am yet to see my Doctor for further tests but just be aware that it does happen, and has happened to many of the other guests at the hotel that we have spoken too. All in all, the hotel itself really is fabulous, it just a shame I’ve had to miss most of it by being poorly.

This was another wonderful stay at Jaz Makadi Oasis, and once again the resort exceeded my expectations. The greatest strength of the hotel is undoubtedly its staff. Everyone was welcoming, professional, and always willing to help with a smile. I would like to express my sincere appreciation to Mr. Ibrahim Saber from the Reception team for his professionalism, kindness, and excellent customer service throughout our stay. I would also like to thank Mr. Ahmed from Housekeeping, who maintained our room to an exceptional standard every day. My gratitude also goes to all the chefs and restaurant staff for their hard work, delicious food, and outstanding hospitality. The beach is beautiful, clean, and perfect for swimming and relaxing. The swimming pools are well-maintained, spacious, and suitable for both adults and children. The overall atmosphere of the resort is peaceful, family-friendly, and ideal for a relaxing vacation. The food quality was excellent in the main restaurants. I particularly enjoyed the Lebanese À La Carte Restaurant and Sofra Restaurant, both of which offered delicious meals, excellent service, and a pleasant dining experience. Overall, the resort offers excellent value for money, and the level of service keeps bringing me back. لم ينل الإعجاب · The evening entertainment program was disappointing. The animation team's performances lacked energy and variety, making the shows feel repetitive and not particularly enjoyable. In addition, there were very limited entertainment activities designed for Egyptian guests, which could be improved by offering more diverse cultural and family-oriented performances. The Aqua Park Restaurant was the biggest disappointment during our stay. The cleanliness and food quality were noticeably below the standard maintained throughout the rest of the resort. Unfortunately, after eating there, I experienced stomach pain and vomiting, which negatively affected part of my vacation. The service provided by some staff members at this restaurant was also less friendly and attentive compared to the excellent service experienced elsewhere in the hotel. The Chinese Restaurant has unfortunately declined compared to previous years. The quality, taste, and overall dining experience were noticeably below the high standards I remembered from my earlier visits. Another issue that needs attention is the reservation of beach and pool sunbeds. Many guests reserve loungers early in the morning by leaving towels or personal belongi

Our overall experience at the hotel was very good. The beach is well maintained, and the service there is excellent. The same applies to the restaurant and the lobby, where the staff are friendly and attentive. The rooms are comfortable and pleasant. The only small improvement I would suggest is brighter lighting, especially in the bathroom. The location is convenient, with the beach just a few minutes' walk away. There is also a nearby water park with plenty of slides, making it a great place to have fun and cool off. The beach itself is in a great location. Just a short swim from the shore, there are several coral reefs where you can see a wide variety of colorful fish and other marine life, making it a great spot for snorkeling.
