We had a very nice stay overall. The second room (1211) we received was very clean, comfortable, and enough spac for us (family + 4y child). The first room was quite small, and we were not satisfied with it, but after changing we had no complaints at all. The housekeeping (Alaa) was excellent, friendly, and very helpful. The animation team was also fantastic, active, supportive, and always positive. The kids’s area was great, and the girl there was creative, energetic, and very good with children. The beach staff and lifeguards were very active and attentive. We would also like to mention Mr. Mohamed Mahmoud at the reception, who was extremely helpful, professional, and always available whenever we needed assistance. The food at Sidi Ali Restaurant was delicious, we felt that the organization could still be improved in some areas. The reception team was professional and competent. However, I would like to make a small observation. While they handled their duties well, I felt that some communication and customer care skills could be improved. Sometimes, when we asked questions, especially regarding children, the responses felt a bit distant and lacked attention. Also, during our stay, I never saw the Guestrelation girls smile defiantly more welcoming attitude would make the guest experience even better. I would also like to mention the à la carte restaurant. The food and service were excellent. However, we visited with our children while staying in rooms 1211 and 1212, and it was sometimes difficult to keep them completely under control. I believe this may have caused some disturbance to other guests, and I sincerely apologize for that. As a suggestion, perhaps the hotel could designate one or two evenings per week as family friendly dining days, where guests with children are encouraged to book. Alternatively, other guests could simply be informed that families with children may be dining on those evenings. I say this as a parent myself, with the intention of helping ensure that all guests enjoy their experience. Another observation, there were harmless jellyfish in the water. I noticed that Lifeguards were collecting them, they were not dangerous. It might be helpful to place simple information boards or brochures near the towel station or foot washing area showing the common harmless jellyfish and local marine life. This could be educational and reassuring for guests. I also noticed that the barrier in the water often collected a big amount of plastic and debris brought by the currents. It would be beneficial if this area were cleaned regularly. the rescue and safety equipment installed in the sea could use more frequent cleaning, as some of it appeared dirty and not very pleasant to look at. Finally, I would like to say that there is a noticeable difference between this hotel and the others in Albatros. I have previously stayed at Jungle, 1001, and Citadel, so YOU ARE THE BEST. You are excellent, but with a few small improvements, you could be absolutely perfect. Thank you for a wonderful stay, and I wish you continued success.
the animation team is awful they r rude not friendly and they don't do thier job...everything in the hotel is great food ,view and atmosphere...staff are too friendly(except the ANIMATION) rooms are great too they deserve 5 out of 5 but the animation make the stay not good for a fun family
Pickalbatros Dana Beach Resort delivers a benchmark-setting family vacation where pristine quality meets seamless logistics. From the flawless welcome and immaculate cleanliness to the spacious rooms and top-tier beachfront, asset management is outstanding. The culinary execution is exceptional, offering 10/10 food quality and an impressive bakery selection that surpasses standard resort buffets. Mobility across the expansive property is brilliant, utilizing a highly enjoyable lagoon water-taxi system and a widespread fleet of on-demand bicycles. While the water slides are more streamlined compared to dedicated aqua parks, they are perfectly segmented by age group and entirely sufficient for excellent youth engagement. Combined with well-structured kids' evening entertainment, the resort offers an uncompromised, premium experience that justifies a definitive return visit.
We absolutely loved staying at Pickalbatros Dana Beach for our honeymoon!! From the cleanliness of the overall resort to the great activities and services they offer, it was all amazing! The photo team stood out for their amazing professionalism and quality. Ashraf was very kind and honest to book a photo session with and Aladdin was literally the best photographer we have had so far!! He was awesome to work with and paid a lot of attention to detail… 100% recommend! We will definitely book again next time we visit Dana Beach!
Dana Beach Resort – June 12–16, Room 3214 I have stayed in many hotels around the world, but Dana Beach Resort is truly in a league of its own. From the moment you arrive until the moment you leave, you are treated like a crowned king rather than just a guest. The hospitality and attention to detail are simply exceptional. I would like to extend my special thanks to Mr. Mohamed Mahmoud, the Front Office Manager, who did everything possible to solve any issue and ensure our stay was perfect. Special thanks also to Mr. Malak for his professionalism, kindness, and outstanding support. Our room (3214) was spacious, beautifully maintained, and spotlessly clean. The bathroom was large and comfortable, and the view was absolutely breathtaking, overlooking both the lagoon and the sea. The resort itself is, in my opinion, the most beautiful resort in the world. The beach is stunning and ideal for both sea lovers and snorkeling enthusiasts. Cleanliness is taken to another level here—it almost feels as if the staff have a passion for perfection. Every corner of the resort shines. The daytime and evening entertainment programs were excellent, and the shows and performances added so much enjoyment to our holiday. The food was good and offered plenty of variety. However, as is often the case in many Albatros hotels, there seems to be a similar seasoning profile across different dishes, making chicken, beef, and kofta taste somewhat alike. Many Egyptian guests have shared the same opinion, and I believe introducing more distinct recipes and flavors for each dish would significantly enhance the dining experience. One of the most unique touches at Dana Beach is the way drinks are served in ice buckets—a brilliant idea that adds a special charm to the guest experience. The famous Albatros bicycles bring joy and energy to the resort, while the boat rides through the lagoon are an attraction in themselves and create unforgettable memories. The Sweet Home Restaurant deserves special recognition. It is simply outstanding, offering an incredible variety of desserts and treats from around the world. It is a truly innovative concept and one of the highlights of the resort. What impressed me most is that the management never stops improving. They are constantly introducing new ideas and enhancements. During our stay, a new aqua park was under construction, proving that this is not just a hotel—it is a team that thinks 24 hours a day about how to create better experiences for its guests. My sincere thanks go to every employee and worker, from the newest staff member to Mr. Kamel Abu Ali, for creating such an extraordinary destination in Egypt. Dana Beach is something every Egyptian can be proud of when speaking to visitors from around the world. Whenever I travel and people ask where I come from, I proudly say: "I am from the country that has Dana Beach Resort." Thank you for an unforgettable vacation. We will definitely return.
