I had a great time with my friends here! Not the best hotel based on attractions and water slides l, cause trust me there are way better hotels where you can find that. Also don’t expect a lot of young people here in February. But still had a great time. The food was not the best l, but I think for Egypt this was not bad. Great room and great staff l.

Overall, I had a very good stay at Pickalbatros Dana Beach Resort. The property is large, well maintained and the staff is exceptionally friendly and attentive. You really feel that many people working here care about the guests and try their best every day. That personal warmth is what makes the place special. That said, there are a few things that could easily be improved. 1. Room description vs. reality I booked a Double Superior Poolside Room. In reality, the room was not close to a pool at all but faced a pond where swimming is not allowed. That felt a bit misleading when booking. The room itself, however, was very spacious, clean, and well maintained. A special thank you to Mohammed, who cleaned the room every day with great care. These small gestures from staff make a real difference and deserve recognition. Honestly, he deserves a pay raise. 2. Restaurants – good food but missing identity The resort offers a wide selection of food across several buffet restaurants and the quality was consistently good. The problem is that the restaurants feel almost identical. There is little differentiation between them. What would help a lot: • A clear overview of which cuisine is featured where • A weekly food schedule • Better information in the hotel app or on-site The resort actually has a good app but barely uses it to communicate things like this. 2a. “L’Asiatique” restaurant This one was a bit confusing. Photos online suggest a themed Asian restaurant experience, but what is currently there doesn’t really reflect that concept. It seems the original location might have changed. At the moment, the website oversells what guests should expect. 3. Evening entertainment This was unfortunately the weakest part of the stay. The entertainment quality was quite low and information about the program was hard to find. Many evenings felt like off-season with little energy or structure. That’s a pity both for guests and for the performers who are clearly trying their best. With better planning and communication, the evenings could feel much more alive. Interestingly, this is less an operations issue and more a marketing / communication issue: guests simply don’t know what’s happening or when. Final thoughts Despite these points, the stay was enjoyable overall thanks to the outstanding friendliness of the staff. They truly raise the bar and are the reason many guests will come back. With a few improvements in transparency, communication, and entertainment programming, this resort could easily move from “very good” to “excellent.”

Very good services and the resort si nice with a lot of activities to do. The food from main restaurant is always diffrent is tasty and I want to mention animation team, we spend with them almost everyday, great people Recommend! 10/10
