We’ve just come back from a lovely stay at Sindbad Hotel and honestly had a brilliant time! The hotel is very clean, well maintained and has everything you need for a great family holiday. The reception staff were always so helpful and friendly whenever we needed anything. 🏊‍♀️ Pools: The main pool was lovely and extremely clean. We never struggled to get sunbeds — I was going down around 8am and could still get 5 beds together in the shade, which was perfect for us. The wave pool was great fun too! There is some sand in the pool, but that’s understandable as there is sand around the Aqua Land area. 💦 Water slides: So much fun and definitely provided hours of entertainment! The lifeguards were really friendly, helpful and always around, which made us feel reassured. 🍽️ Food: We’re quite fussy eaters, so this is probably more down to us! 😂 We still always managed to have full tummies, and if you’re not a fussy eater there is a really good variety of food and plenty of options to choose from. 🛏️ Rooms: Our room was very spacious with lots of storage. We didn’t have a balcony, but this honestly wasn’t a problem for us as we still managed to dry our swimming clothes. We had a lovely pool view and the cleaners were fantastic — always helpful and kept the room lovely and clean. Overall, we had such a great stay and would definitely recommend Sindbad, especially for families. We made some amazing memories and would happily come back! ❤️🌴

This hotel is quite large. Split into 2 parts: a normal hotel with swimming pool near reception and the water park which has 2 bars, wave pool and slides. Slides were good and queues not too bad. Had sand around wave pool where sun loungers were. Plenty of umbrellas for shade if wanted. There is no need to search for a sunbed as the staff do that for you, just give them a little tip for their efforts. There are several speciality restaurants that you need to book in advance on the screens in reception on the day you want to go. Select room number and time and you're good to go. If you are a big party, once reserved you can take a trip to restaurant and ask for one table for all your party which we did a few times as there were 9 of us over 3 rooms. Staff are amazing. Can't do enough for you, always smiling and very accommodating. Tip little and often and they will wait on you hand and foot with drinks etc... Room we had was spacious, clean and tidied avery day and towels changed. Fridge in room not very good though as made everything around it very warm. Think location of fridge needs to be addressed. Water replenished everyday. Air con was decent and beds pretty comfy to be honest. Never had any problems. Beach with restaurant and bar is around 5 min walk out of the rear of the hotel via Serry Beach resort. Gotta be up early if you want loungers in the shade. However if you gp to the end of the pier there's a circular floating thing which has loungers around it, bar and you can jump in and swim in the sea. Toilets though are back near the restaurant so a bit of a trek if you nees to go. On the subject of toilets, the hotel doesn't seem to have many. Main reception area only has one with 3 cubicles and 3 urinals for men and 3 cubicles for women. The only toilet on the water park side is near the Big Yellow slide. Nothing at the other end of the resort where there is then kids pool and more slides. Would be good to have a toilet at the other end of the resort to make things easier. All in all, this is a fab hotel with great facilities, great staff and good location for the marina. Marina is a taxi round for around £1 . Uber is available which is what we used to get there, but on the way back, I would recommend jumping in a taxi there and agree a price before setting off. Should be no more that 200 to 300 egp. Value for.money was amazing for what we paid, during peak of summer for 2 adults and a 13 year old. Would have no hesitation in recommending this hotel to anyone.

This is our 6th holiday in Egypt and our first stay at Sinbad . I can honestly say that the hotel deserves 10/10 . The staff work at hard and nothing is too much trouble . The hotel is spotless so ignore the bad reviews regarding the pools or staff wiping tables with dirty clothes as that’s ridiculous . Yes the wave pool gets leaves in it but that’s to be expected but you will always see the lifeguards going round with the net mopping them up and they all work so hard long after the pools close cleaning them ready for the next day. The food is was the best we have ever had in Egypt , the variety was plentiful and the fact that you could book the À la Carte restaurants as many times as you like was great . i have to say the soup in the Asian restaurant was the best I have ever tasted and am missing it already! We only had one issue & that was when we arrived in the first evening we were given a room above the entertainment which wasn’t what we had booked as we had paid for superior with a balcony overlooking the pool or gardens. When we went to reception to say them room was wrong he said the tell was full and could we stay in it one night . We disagreed and even the porter said to ask to see the manager. So we went back and another member of staff gave us a different room straight away which was the correct room . Towards the end of our stay a customer relations lady spoke to us by the pool and asked us how we had found out stay and we said it was perfect apart from the blip at the beginning and she sent a bowl of fruit and drinks to our room as an apology . We were suprised and very grateful. Please don’t take this an a negative as the staff work so hard and it was the only thing I can say that was wrong . We went as a couple but I would t hesitate to come back with the family as it is a perfect place for the grandchildren, so thank you everyone at Sinbad for a wonderful relaxing holiday .

Stayed at the Sindbad for for 2 weeks and wow what can I say from location to staff and food was fantastic in the middle of everything with plenty to do the hotel/complex is well run all the staff was fantastic well looked special mentions 2 staff in the main bar Ahmed Shaban and Mohamed Mahmoud also Mohamed the cleaner room 3041 was great. Although we had 2 weeks we could have easily had another 2 shame to go home 😞

On the whole, a good experience. I’ll try to be as honest as I can and give context to my reasoning. Staff & Service are generally very good. Most of the time you can get drinks brought to you by the pool, tip £100 EGP a couple of times a day and you’ll get looked after. Staff are really friendly, helpful and accommodating. They can’t do enough for you. The cleaning guy was great too, often returning in the afternoon to clean the room after my bone idle teenage children had finally arisen. Rooms / Hotel The hotel itself is generally very clean, comfortable and fairly modern. The shower gets warm, but the drainage can be a little mixed, resulting in the bathroom getting quite wet. Don’t expect massage levels of power and you’ll be fine - I often think it’s impressive that they get water around such a large complex as successfully as they do. Fresh bottled was provided in the rooms and the air in was good. We were in a family room, which was split into a twin room and a king room, separated with a locking door which was nice for privacy. Air-con was good, though it operates using a pressure switch in the door lock, which can be temperamental. Some tissue pushed in the hole soon solved this though…. Poolside is clean, we always got loungers even as a party of 9, and staff helped move them around to accommodate us. The loungers have nice thick cushions on so are also very comfortable. Food & Drink are this hotels biggest opportunity. Basic would be my description, depending on what you expect. There’s freshly made pizza, lots of fries, burgers and a few other potato options, mixed in with the odd dish of lower quality cuts of meat in generic sauces. Think ‘Curried Chicken Thighs’ or ‘Mexican Beef Shin’. There’s a fair selection of fruit, salad, cheeses bread. Theres also a pasta station making a bolognese style and a creamy style pasta. All are edible, but just basic. Thankfully eating out is cheap as it would be very easy to get borer. The Italian restaurant was average at best, though the Asian restaurant (Thai themed) was better. Again service was brilliant in both restaurants. Drinks are similarly basic. Cocktails aren’t premium at all and spirit measures were generally too strong to be enjoyable. It’s really lager, soft drinks and a few basic fruit juice based cocktails. At peak, the main restaurant is a genuine madhouse, the one near the pool is better but less selection. We didn’t really use the entertainment, but there was a large stage area and it looked to be of a good standard. Outside the main hotel complex is a private beach and a floating area with a buffet restaurant. It’s a lovely place to relax, swim in the sea and sunbathe. You can access the sea from the floating area, bypassing the sand, and if you get to know the lads at the bar you can yell for drinks and they’ll bring them, again a small tip helps. Spinneys is the supermarket to go to locally and 2 minutes to the left of the main gate, selling a range of products at proper prices, not tourist markup. As with many similar countries and resorts, you’ll get beckoned into various shops to sample their wares, which does get a little tiresome. I often wonder if this pressure sell ever actually works, but such is the culture. The marina is pleasant and a short, somewhat interesting taxi ride away. Don’t bother with uber, you just get messed about, and €5 / £300EGP gets you there, with lots of taxis immediately available. My overall experience here has been very good and given the price I paid, I’d think the quality is fair. Staff are excellent, facilities good, just the food that is basic.
