Best holiday I’ve ever been on! This is the first time we’ve ever been to Egypt and this hotel didn’t disappoint. The hotel is beautiful, very clean and has everything you need there. The food is really nice and easily accessible. The rooms are spacious and cleaned daily. Due to the number of pools and having access to the beach you were guaranteed to get a sunbed unlike other hotels I’ve been to. The staff were always friendly, willing to help and the service was quick. The activities at throughout the hotel were suitable for any ages and the entertainment team are amazing, fun and inclusive. Overall, this hotel was definitely with the price we paid and we will 100% be looking at going back.

A stunning hotel all round. We normally go to Dubai but clearly off the table at the moment. Following a lot of research we opted for the Steigenberger and provided you're happy with a hotel where you can spend a week, unless you want a half an hour trip to Hurghada this is a stunning hotel of Dubai quality. A number of shops at the entrance clothes, bags, trainers, chemist etc. Al la Carte restaurants (payment for some) as well as the main buffet where the food is very, very good. Staff quite exceptional all round and our room man, Ayman was very professional and helpful. Great beach for a morning walk (turn left it’s nicer) and lots and lots of sunbeds - in May absolutely no shortage and they take a dim view of early morning sunbed ‘reservations’. We had a great trip…..

We stayed at Steigenberger Ras Soma for one week in early May for our babymoon, and it exceeded our expectations from start to finish. Before we even arrived, I informed the hotel that we were travelling for a babymoon, and it was such a thoughtful surprise to find a slice of cake waiting in our room to celebrate the start of our stay. Small touches like that really made the experience feel special and personal. The weather throughout the week was absolutely perfect, and the hotel itself is beautiful. The variety and quality of the food was terrific every day, with plenty of choice and consistently high standards across the restaurants. What truly made the stay memorable was the staff. Everyone was warm, attentive, and genuinely welcoming. Samuel, Mahmoud, Ali, Ibrahim, Abdullah (to name a few) and all staff provided exceptional service and always went out of their way to make sure we were enjoying ourselves. George, the manager, was terrific whenever our paths crossed. A special mention also goes to Mohammed from housekeeping, who kept our room spotless throughout the stay. We especially loved the towel art surprises he created each day, which became something we looked forward to returning to after being by the pool or beach. The pool area was lovely and never felt overcrowded, with fun activities available including water aerobics and volleyball for anyone wanting to join in. The private beach was another highlight. It was incredibly clean, peaceful, and the water was crystal clear, perfect for relaxing and swimming. Overall, we had a wonderful and relaxing babymoon at Steigenberger Ras Soma and would highly recommend it to anyone looking for a luxurious and welcoming stay in Egypt.

Just returned from 7 nights at this wonderful resort. Overall I can’t rate it highly enough. The customer service, cleaning, gardens, food and pools were exceptional. There is never an issue with sun beds or towels, in fact there is plenty of choice throughout the whole day. It’s exceptionally hygienic every where. All tables are cleaned regularly and set nice for each guest. The table set up and waiter service always delivers even on morning coffee ☕️ in the lobby. The decor in the buffet restaurant is gorgeous & the atmosphere is good especially if you eat a little earlier. My favourite area for the day time was the quiet pool and Cabana Restaurant. I also enjoyed the attention to detail everywhere and the culture. We were playing international volleyball tournaments with all abilities. The animation team are great motivators. There was no impolite behaviour or selfishness from other guests (like video calls or loud personal music or undesirable attention / shouting from groups of guests) which unfortunately I have experienced in other hotels. Everyone is accommodating and friendly. My compliments to the chefs who constantly show such care and attention. I am a very healthy eater and was focused on Egyptian food. On two occasions at the buffet, dishes were made for me to order keeping to the yoga diet. Check in and check out are swift and hassle free. One of the aspects that I also want to mention is how vigilant and professional the staff are especially the lifeguard team and the animation staff. Some feed back, on all occasions animation need to wear uniforms. Also the children’s area is super. One of the best in terms of functionality and layout. It’s Uber clean and well maintained and has shade. The spa area is a nice facility overall. I would recommend the hotel highly and we are looking to return at Christmas and New Year. The evening shows are good and the hard work of the performers must be recognised. We were in room 2144. Our housekeeper was Ibrahim and he was excellent. To mention everyone who made our time outstanding would be hard but some names are Ibrahim manager Cabana, Ali Manager at Main Buffet. Mehmet Manager at Maya. Ali the Chef who made me Yogic Food with an Egyptian Twist. To also mention Nabeel. Abdulah. Hatham. Islam. Karam. Mina. *Tip the buffet is nice and quiet at lunch time so go and try.

Everything was perfect, superb hotel, service, staff, food, facilities, beach…etc Would definitely visit again
