TUI BLUE Crystal Bay

We stayed here from 8th–22nd July 2026, and we had the most amazing holiday. The hotel was beautiful, the food was great, and the staff truly made our experience unforgettable. I want to give a special mention to Melad at the pool bar. He is one of the kindest, funniest and most thoughtful people we've ever met on holiday. He always remembered me and my partner, knew exactly what we liked to drink, and greeted us with the biggest smile every day. We had an ongoing joke where we'd call each other "Big Boss," which never failed to make me laugh! He genuinely made every day brighter and is such a lovely, genuine person. We actually really miss him already. If it's possible, I'd love for our thanks to be passed on to him because he truly made our holiday so special. I'd also like to mention Ahmed in the sports bar. We only met him during our last few evenings, but he made such an impression in such a short time. He has such a warm, friendly personality and made us feel like friends rather than guests. Nothing was ever too much trouble, and he couldn't do enough for us. He is an absolute credit to the hotel. Thank you to everyone for making our holiday one we'll never forget. We left with incredible memories, and the wonderful staff are a huge reason why. We can't wait to come back😊

Hotel and staff and everything was super amazing

Me and my family have just arrived home after a brilliant 2 week holiday here. As a party of 8 we have nothing but great things to say about this resort as everyone was so lovely and accommodating to anything we needed. During our first week we were met by the bars manager Fahmi after we mentioned some of the drinks weren’t great, however after this interaction he ensured us that we could ask for any drinks to be altered to meet our standards which all the bar staff were great at doing and would then remember exactly how we liked them throughout our stay, Fahmi and assistant bar manager Hany would also regularly check up on us or personally provide us with our regular drinks. Another shout out to John, the bar tender who was always in the sports bar during our stay as from the second we met him he was like a friend to all of us, always making sure we had a drink in hand and keeping big smiles on our faces. All of our experiences with the food was also positive, we regularly visited the buffet where there was always options for everyone to enjoy and also visited all of the a le cart restaurants minus the seafood restaurant. Out of these restaurants we particularly enjoyed Mangal - bbq restaurant and Manohar - indian as these two restaurants had food we all enjoyed including the 9 year old with us. One thing would be that in a lot of these restaurants there isnt many child friendly options available however the staff would do great at recommending what would be best for the children to enjoy. Lastly, the animation team around the pool and in the evenings were all so friendly, always engaged us in the activity’s available and provided us with any information that we needed such as when the pool partys were or what events were on during the day and evening. I had a very disappointing experience during check-in. We booked our stay through a travel agency and had specifically requested that our four family rooms be located close to each other. However, the receptionist, Manar, was unhelpful, inflexible, and unwilling to assist. She insisted that there were no nearby rooms available and said that all the rooms were occupied by families, despite the fact that we were also one large family group. Instead of trying to find a solution, she made the process unnecessarily difficult. In the end, we were the ones who suggested a solution, and only then were we finally given rooms. Unfortunately, we didn’t receive our rooms until 7:00 PM, which was unacceptable after a long journey. What made the experience even worse was her attitude. While speaking with us, she told us that next time we should book directly instead of through a travel agency, implying that travel agency bookings were not good. This comment was unprofessional and inappropriate. The hotel itself may be good, but the poor customer service at reception completely ruined our first impression.

An Excellent Hotel Let Down by an Extremely Unprofessional Receptionist This was my fourth stay at this hotel, and until this visit, I had always considered it one of the best hotels I have ever stayed in. The Crystal Bay rooms are outstanding, and that is exactly why this experience was so disappointing. Our reservation had been fully confirmed before our arrival. However, when we checked in, we discovered that our rooms were not arranged as requested. While I understand that operational issues can happen, what is absolutely unacceptable is the way we were treated by the receptionist, Ms. Manar Abdel Wahab. Her attitude was incredibly rude, dismissive, and completely lacking the professionalism, courtesy, and respect that should be expected from the front desk of a five-star hotel. Rather than trying to resolve the situation or reassure us, she spoke to us in an inappropriate and disrespectful manner, making us feel as though we were an inconvenience rather than valued guests. We arrived at approximately 10:30 AM, yet we did not receive our rooms until nearly 7:00 PM. Waiting for several hours is frustrating enough, but what made the experience even worse was the complete lack of empathy, communication, or even a simple apology. Throughout the entire process, her attitude only added to our frustration. The situation became so unacceptable that we had no choice but to escalate the matter to the General Manager, Mr. Sherif. Only after his intervention was the issue finally addressed. It is deeply disappointing that one employee can negatively impact the reputation of an otherwise outstanding hotel. The reception team represents the hotel’s first impression, and unfortunately, Ms. Manar’s behavior was completely inconsistent with the standards of hospitality expected from a luxury five-star property. I genuinely hope the hotel management takes this matter seriously, because no guest should ever begin their vacation feeling disrespected, ignored, or unwelcome.
