Aurora Oriental Resort Sharm El Sheikh

The property is beautiful, spacious, and comfortable. The staff were very friendly and helpful, especially with room service. We were looked after by Gabr Nasr, a very polite, cheerful, and skilled person, always ready to accommodate our every request.

Travelled over the Easter break with 8yo grandson. 1st impressions on arrival were good with easy check in. (recommend private transfer and miss airport bus chaos) reception and entrance lovely and grand but once you make your way to the room you realise its a bit dated with tiled floors that transfer all traffic sounds into rooms. had room 137 and great size but tired with massive double bed (was expecting 2 beds as travelled with child) single bed arrived but refused as bed was so big just shared anyway. Aircon worked well but only when in room with room card plugged in. found out on day 9 after going to get some room service that telephone didnt work (forgot to report) rooms cleaned well and towels replaced (only got towel art on days tipping cleaning staff) TV channels are very minimal and tv signal in room was poor. WIFI in room was good but treat yourself and get an Esim Pools were fantastic albeit cold with great pool staff and towel guys (although regular tipping did get better treatment. Was great to Sakara on draft rather than Stella bottles (please update indoor bars too) beach was very gritty and not for walking on but great views. you cannot swim unless you go to end of piers and its still only shoulder deep with no fish to see. entertainment was (in my opinion) way too late and not very well advertised. Kids mini disco at 8:30 with limited entertainment at 9:30 Fire show was good on the beach Grandson enjoyed some of the daily activities with the animation team and they were not too pushy. The sales guys also left you alone after a couple of refusals. Eating was hit and miss with no real designation of so called themed evenings. didnt try the al-a-carte but did look pleasant on passing. food was very varied and you had to walk the full length of both sides to get an idea of what was there. (kids meals had their own little corner but consisted of chips or pasta. waiting staff were very reactive to tipping and only actually had a waiter get me a drink once in 13 days. there is distinct lack of TV screens in the bars unless you want to pay for drinks in the sports bar. (with a world cup coming up you may want to invest in some outside screens) shops were very expensive so pop outside and turn right to the little supermarket where its dirt cheap. for me personally I generally don't travel in school holidays so found this hotel very expensive in comparison to other hotels in the area that I have stayed at. for an off peak holiday at a bargain price I'd recommend here but look around as there are better hotels with better facilities. Having said that I am coming back in November for one of those cheaper options.

This hotel is perfectly placed for all shops,bars, food places and has a great beach area. The hotel grounds are immaculate and really well maintained. The pools are great and the life guards are amazing I have to mention Mohamed Hegazy and Hossam they were absolutely brilliant, very helpful and keep the pool are perfect. The rooms are large and very clean but a bit dated especially the bathroom (just need updated). Food is ok but i wouldn't go any further than OK, Staff are very friendly and helpful. The biggest let down is the fact you have to drink from plastic cups or paper ones in the lobby bar. I 100% agree with this on the beach or by the pool but not indoors on an evening. On a whole we had a great holiday and I would 100% recommend Old Market at night its way better than Namma Bay or Soho and is very very safe. Hard Rock Bar is right next door and if you want to eat out try the Wild West grill over the road to the left about 3mins walk amazing food unbelievably cheap.

We had an absolutely wonderful family stay at Aurora Oriental Resort. From the moment we arrived, the staff made us feel welcome and cared for, and this continued throughout our entire holiday. A very special thank you to our housekeeper, Haleem, who was truly amazing. Every day he surprised our kids with creative towel figures, which became one of the highlights of their stay. His attention to detail and kindness made a big difference for our family. The restaurant staff and the manager were also fantastic – always friendly, attentive, and ready to help with anything we needed. The food was excellent, with a great variety every day, so there was always something delicious for everyone. We would also like to thank Abdullah from Sea World, who helped us organise unforgettable excursions to the desert and White Island, including diving – everything was perfectly arranged and stress-free. During our stay, I had a medical issue and needed assistance. The hotel clinic responded quickly, came directly to our room, and provided professional treatment. We are very grateful for the care and support we received. Overall, a huge thank you to all the staff who made our experience so special, relaxing, and unforgettable. We would definitely love to come back!

A fantastic hotel with absolutely wonderful staff who made sure we had a great stay. A warm, familylike atmosphere. The all-inclusive food was tasty and varied. The area is perfect for families with children, offering activities for both kids and adults.💛
