Having been to many hotels in Sharm this one disappointed. On arrival the reception staff were miserable, unhelpful and unfriendly - a trend that continued with many staff throughout our stay. Food was average - often bland and tasteless - and the restaurant was more like a canteen. I had raw chicken one night which the chef wasn't apologetic about at all. We were locked out of our room before checkout time on the last day and the staff weren't bothered at all - no apology. There was lack of attention to detail in all areas. It wasn't an awful hotel but the cheaper price reflects what you get. Location good.

Great hotel, gorgeous food and lovely staff especially Wolad who cleaned our room and created a stunning towel sculpture & petals on my birthday.

Very kind and friendly hotel - very nice decor in the two main bars. Each evening there is music or entertainment provided. Room spacious, could do with some upgrading. Buffet food quite good, large area. Restaurant accessible by lift down from near reception. Would have liked to have stayed longer, very promising.

We had a fantastic stay at the Aurora. Had a little mix up with the room when we first arrived but this was quickly sorted and we were so happy with the service! Our room was absolutely spotless, big shout out to Gabyr who cleaned our room every day, it was always absolutely perfect and much attention was made to detail. The pool was always clean and well maintained and the service around the pool was exceptional from the bar staff and the maintenance, sunbed and towel attendants everyone always working so hard to make the experience great. The grounds and gardens were beautiful. The bar staff around the complex were all wonderful and so helpful mustafa in the piano bar was absolutely brilliant, the effort he made to speak so many different languages was amazing! The food was truly beautiful so much to choose from and all freshly prepared. The presentation was second to none. The chefs were all friendly and happy to help. The restaurant manager Mohamed was just the best, always attentive and smiling and so helpful. The Christmas gala was really exceptional! Special shout out to Ahmed reda who made sure the tables were all spotlessly clean and set beautifully. I could go on and on about how wonderful everything was but I’ll leave it by saying we enjoyed it so much we’ve booked for Christmas 2027! And cannot wait!
