I genuinely struggle to understand some of the glowing reviews for this hotel because our experience was completely different. StaffMany reviews describe the staff as friendly, but that was not our experience. In particular, Amr Salem in the Piano Bar was, in our opinion, one of the rudest and most unfriendly members of staff we encountered. On our very first evening, he was abrupt while we were ordering drinks and even snapped at my children as they were choosing theirs. Unfortunately, this continued throughout our stay. Later in the week, the way he spoke to my children upset my 8-year-old so much that they were left in tears, and my older child felt uncomfortable too. After that, we avoided the Piano Bar completely. It certainly felt as though staff were much friendlier towards guests who tipped regularly. If you want consistently good service, be prepared to spend extra money, despite this being an all-inclusive holiday. Evening EntertainmentThe evening entertainment was disappointing and, in our opinion, not particularly suitable for children. Most nights we walked out early, along with many other families. The only exception was the fire show, which was excellent. BeachThe beach itself was lovely, but during our stay there was human faeces floating in the sea, which completely ruined the experience. We were also never warned about the presence of stonefish around the jetty. This is something guests, especially families with children, should be made aware of, as stepping on one can result in a serious injury. PhotographerOne thing that really shocked me was the hotel photographer. While it's understandable to offer professional photo sessions for guests who choose them, but photographers were also walking around the pools taking photographs of people relaxing and children playing without first asking permission. I had to tell them on at least two occasions that I did not give permission for my children to be photographed. I don't understand why the hotel believes this is acceptable. Parents should always have the choice over whether their children are photographed by complete strangers. All-Inclusive / Bars / RestaurantsWe booked the Platinum package, but it offered very little value in our opinion. The "all-inclusive" experience mainly consisted of basic cocktails and limited drink options. One day the pool bar was unavailable because someone had been sick in the pool and the area was closed, meaning we couldn't use the facilities or get drinks there. The buffet food was better than I expected overall, but much of the meat and fish was overcooked. If you wanted anything better—à la carte restaurants, higher-quality drinks, or even freshly squeezed orange juice—you had to pay extra. That doesn't feel like a true all-inclusive experience. The PositivesThe Animation Team were fantastic. They were genuinely friendly, welcoming, and brilliant with the children without expecting anything in return. The weather was also lovely throughout our stay. OverallIf I'd known beforehand what this holiday would be like, I would never have booked this hotel through EasyJet Holidays. Sadly, I won't be returning, and based on our experience, I cannot recommend this hotel to other families.

Love nabq bay was there January in laguna vista decided to try hotel next door auroa oriental Arrived late reception quiet checked in reception staff not the friendliest however was late so never gave it much thought apart from no information provided about hotel or facilities Went to room lower ground as requested so quite happy room dated floor tiles cracked decided on shower and bed (shower a definite 2/10 no power quite narrow) Next morning found restraunt opposite room food OK however juice in paper cups unless early enough to get a glass Day round pool bit dated lot of beds but must be up early to grab one Id read how good staff was on previous reviews however those staff must of gone home on there break as smiles were none existent drinks in paper cups or plastic if lucky was last day before waiter asked if we wanted a drink round pool everything seemed like an effort for them Beach nice advertises late breakfast so went to see if any good there was tomatoes cucumber and buns available asked if any butter got abrupt man tell us no so never went back Food lovely in main restaurant never found anywhere else in hotel till day we came home but told u pay for that We ate out a few nights over the road Hotel bars inside are also lifeless Luckily out on trips most days so spent little time in hotel certainly not 5 star 3 if lucky

We had a lovely trip to Sharm in Egypt, the hotel staff were lovely and welcoming and very attentive throughout our stay. The hotel was very clean, and well maintained, with excellent swimming pools and a great beach. The food was good and had a variety each night, but they still had options for picky eaters. Room cleaners were good and came in everyday, however on a few occasions did not leave us with shower gel or shampoo in our room, we had to request these. The shower in our room was very hit and miss, it was very weak on most nights and boiling hot with no temperature change, even when reception were called and maintenance came along they could not fix this. The entertainment needs a massive revamp as although the shows were brilliant they were very short and there was nothing to do in the hotel after 10:30pm. The sun bed situation also could have been handled slightly better as people were reserving beds at 5-6am meaning there was no space at the main pool in the mornings.

We stayed here for 11 nights & it was our best holiday we’ve been on and have a holiday every year in different countries. We’ve never wanted to go back to the same place or same hotel more than once but this hotel we decently would. We’ve just returned home from here for a 10 day’s stay. Flew with easyJet. 12 of us in total, the wife’s on the phone this morning looking at booking holidays 🤣 we’ve never been back to the same hotel same island before but I’ve said how about looking at thisone again for 10 nights in April school break - £2,299 for 2 adults and child but no free kids place coming up this time but it’s a good price I thought. We would return here. When we arrived we did get offered to be shown to our rooms with staff taking our cases but as we arrived late we wanted to just go to our room. Breakfast each day they have fresh warm croissants we ate nearly daily, the homemade jams are awesome aswell as their own Fresh Honeycomb on a tray each morning & fresh Bee’s Golden Honey plus Manuka Black Honey ! (The expensive stuff )!! Had a spoon in my coffee nearly every morning ! The coffee machine they have two but only one machine working at a time with the other as a back up 🤣 so swapped side to side a few times ! Good selection of coffee though and hot choc on them. They have a live cooking station serving fresh pancakes & waffles in a morning plus 1 serving eggs - omelettes & fried eggs Fruit yoghurt pastries. Toast machine takes 3 days to make toast though! 😂 ————— Lunch / dinner - the bbq outside live cooking - always something different. Inside theirs another 6 live cooking station serving different things every day! We’ve had live cooking stations at hotels before on a five star place but nowhere near as many as was at this hotel at the same time ! Pizza station is awesome ________ Outside pools absolutely no issues The terracotta tiles get redhot !! We bought sea shoes we wore daily in the pool, and walking around outside. The pool bars we bought pint pot plastic ones and a 2 pint beer stein myself too, plus Stanley cups ! They have no issues filling those ! They even filled Stanley’s with alcohol or cocktails ! 🍹 However - the first two days I had DELIBELLY !! Started with 💩 then came stomach cramps sickness and sweats - ANTINAL is a good one from the Blue chemist on the left opposite the hotel over road ! I only took the first 4 tablets and it was totally gone! After that I was totally fine eating everything drinking everything! I WOULDNT SAY THIS WAS DIWN TO THE HOTELS FOOD THOUGH …. Coupled with the heat and having iced drinks (bottled water ice) plus the Egyptian flavours ~ eating a western diet English arnt used to that it’s a shock to the system ! Just like suddenly changing your diet at home you might have an upset stomach for a day or two … it’s no way fare to say it’s totally down to the hotel !! Otherwise it would have lasted the whole 10 days !! ( THE ICE in drinks - it is from bottled water ice cubes / I didn’t mean anything like the ice was a problem / I am referring to the heat of Egypt & your core temperature then having to ice cold drinks it can shock your system causing an upset stomach also ! ) The sea down the jetty they have the bottom set out with large steps down into the sea for easy access & handrails. They have squares set out markered with boyes as boats come beyond that. One family with us did the paragliding and sofa ride ( like a fat banana boat) We saw a baby sword fish , lots of stripy fish 🐠 & some baby rays one day too !! The snorting is free just using your own stuff obviously - no idea if you can rent it and that’s why some people ask is it free? We did a Glass bottom boat & QUAD SUFARI ASWELL. The whole hotel is clean, it gave me the impression that 20 year ago it would of been the height of extravagance but over the years no updates on looks - although doesn’t need an updated look, The rooms and doors could do with being updated to modern standards but that would then come with a price increase for your holiday!! So for the price payed it was great ! As we understood it before we booked the holiday - Egypt isn’t bound by the star rating we would expect from the 4 or 5 star hotels - and so I’d say it’s the rivilant of a 3 star holiday, (Google also say this about Egypt ) !! So I’m not sure why people still main on here it’s not the four / five star - well yea didn’t you research that yourself…,? Like everyone else when booking a country never visited before!? 😂 The hotels grounds however are five star gardens !! They’re awesome !! Gardeners out every minute of every day. They do use recycled 💩 water that’s been through a bio filter and so can be smelly but nowhere near as smelly as Greece !!! Anymore questions do ask me and I’ll tag you in an answer and also edit this review to add that in also because I really can’t think of everything ! Had an awesome holiday in all.

This is the second time at this hotel. We love it, found the manager in the restaurant Mohamed absolutely brilliant with my son who has a nut allergy. Mohamed would take him round the restaurant and show him what he could and could not eat. Always making sure my son had something to eat each meal time. Made our holiday as my son felt at ease picking his food. ❤️
