Baron Resort Sharm El Sheikh

One of the worst experiences ever, the reception called us over 10 times on the room phone and senr us a letter written to proceed to the reception when free urgently so thst rhey can tell us that one of the towels got dirty as my hair is dyed black so it leaked the towel. And they wsnt to charge us for this , how is this a 5 star hotel and they charge people for such silly things. Plus the reception wasn't friendly at all. What kind of policy is this as this is extremely unethical and unaccetable and i haven't experienced any situatiin like this in any hotel before. Would never come again. Plus the food represestation for the lunch is extremely bad and unflattering. We couldn't even eat properly.

Nice hotel which is very clean with excellent service. Drink package on premium all inclusive is good too. Huge swimming pool with plenty of sun beds and a lovely beach. The beach is much busier than the pool area but still plenty of sun beds. The biggest disappointment with this hotel is the food, it just is not 5 star quality. It is catered more towards Russians than English, and was difficult to find something we liked. If you like your food or are the slightest bit fussy then avoid this place.

Great hotel and nice location. The staff is super helpful and friendly The food is delicious as well. There’re 5 restaurants on the territory, each one has an own concept. All the restaurants are fascinating! The hotel is pretty quiet and relaxing. Not too many kids were around so I could truly enjoy my vacation. Highly recommend to spend your next trip in this wonderful hotel!

Hotel and grounds were immaculate. Well done to the ground keeping team and the cleaning team. A special mention for our room attendant Karim who kept the room spotless and fully serviced. Reception staff were polite and helpful. Internet was a bit of a hit or amiss. Staff were attentive and were always there to help make the holiday as enjoyable as possible. The pool, beach and bar staff were excellent - service with a smile. The laundry service was excellent. Buffet staff were friendly and efficient. The a la carte restaurants staff were excellent but sadly the food was very disappointing. Too often it was overcooked and served on cold plates which made the food cold very quickly. The portions were huge and lacked flavour. The majority of the guest appeared to Russian and perhaps the food was more tailored towards their tastes. Entertainment was good during the day but the "shows" in the amphitheater were pretty amateurish. The biggest disappointment was in the Premium all inclusive drinks policy - the only place that had Premium all inclusive drinks included was the Cigar Bar (The Niche). If you got lucky you could have a drink without the stink of cigarettes and cigars, but if someone lit up a cigar (which were on sale in the bar) you had to suffer or leave. When we asked if we could take our drinks down to the foyer bar or get them in the foyer bar we were told we would have to pay full price for them. We take them out to the corridor where the chances of developing emphysema were slightly less. I felt sorry for the bar staff who had to work in these conditions. I don't think I would return to The Baron Resort which is a shame because the staff were so good.

We were very pleased with our stay in the hotel, especially in the restaurant Ashraf Abdul Azime was very concerned, kind and always smiley. Thanks to all stuff.
