This was our 2nd visit here and we absolutely loved it….. again! What really makes this hotel/holiday is the staff, they are absolutely exceptional and nothing is too much for them. The Head Chef in the restaurant is so accommodating and really cares that you’re happy and enjoy your food. The waiters in the restaurant and bar staff in the main bar are fabulous. Down by the pool the lifeguards are brilliant and so helpful, they are always happy to ensure your sun bed is in the sun or shade as per your preference and the pool bar staff and snack bar are all great. On the beach you also have a bar and lifeguards who are all equally as great and helpful and kind. The staff for the SPA are seriously the best! The 2 brothers that work there are great and so helpful and friendly, I tried to poach them to come to the UK with a job as their customer service skills are out of this world, but they are very loyal to their employer! We had a couple of treatments and the boys weren’t fibbing…they were great (although the jacuzzi area in the SPA does need a little attention). The shops are a nice addition and as the same as my first visit I spent most of my time in the perfume shop with the fabulous Ramadan and his colleague (I’ve forgotten his name, but very funny and so helpful), these guys really know there perfume and are so patient, also they are great at supplying lotions and potions for the mosquitoes (a nightmare!). Another one of my favourite shops is the jewellers with Hassan, I have purchased so many pieces off him over the last 2 years and it’s so reasonable and such good quality, the girls I was with were the same, I absolutely love his stock and he’s not pushy at all, he is happy for you to mooch around whether buying or just looking. Myself and the girls came back with lots of perfume (and aftershave for kids and other halves, which they loved) and lots of jewellery, I even got my sisters birthday presents out there from Hassan as I know the quality is great. There are a few downsides with this place, they are minor, but it did stop me from giving 5 stars…. the room needed a little attention as a plug socket didn’t work, the bathroom was looking quite grubby and in need of modernising, it was very clean……praise to the cleaning staff…….so good! Also. The entertainment…..this is where the hotel lets itself down. There is an outside entertainment area, we had no interest in going to as the previous year it was awful and we got eaten alive by mosquitoes so we spent most the time in the upstairs bar area which had really limited entertainment (thank god for the sociable waiters!). This year we also stayed in the bar and was pleased that it was more fun than the previous year, we had a guy sing and he was great and got us all up dancing and singing, such fun, there was a terrible woman singer one night but I think she felt the vibe that everyone thought she was awful (apologies for sounding rude, but she really was…..everyone was polite and we clapped at the end, but it was awful!). I really hope they work on this as it’s the area that they fall down on. I was going to come back twice next year, once with my friend/s and another with my sisters and mum, however, due to the ‘not so great’ evening entertainment my friend wants to try somewhere else. This is a bit sad as I absolutely love the staff at this hotel and love the fact it’s so easy to walk between the 3 hotels on site, although I do understand her reason. We certainly don’t want a nightclub, but it’s nice to have live music in the bar area for adult guests to enjoy and maybe have a dance and sing along. I am still keen to come back with my mum and 2 sisters for one of my sisters 50th birthday as I honestly can’t fault the staff or food and that’s really important to me. If you’re thinking of going to this resort then I can honestly say you will be so well looked after and the staff are the best I have NEVER come across from all over the world, they really make the holiday special. They have a hotel with water park on site, which is fab and so much fun (we were able to use for free as we were VIP as it was our 2nd visit- such a great perk and didn’t go unnoticed, along with extra visits to the ala care restaurants and a VIP cocktail party), but, Charmillion Club Resort is really special to me. Big shout out to Diana from customer relations, what an asset to your team she is……so very helpful and a lovely young lady who always went above and beyond. I must also mention the Lebanese restaurant, this is an absolute MUST, food is fab and both trips we loved it! Charmillion Club Resort really is such a special place. When they sort out the evening entertainment in the bar (just some live music, some songs we all know) then this will be 5 stars…even 5 star plus for me! Thank you again…..I will be back and hopefully I can report to my friend/s that the evening bar entertainment is better and they’ll come back again as well. (First trip there was 3 of us, second trip 2, the 3rd was supposed to come but had last minute work commitment she could not get out of. We went for 1 week the 1st visit and 10 days the 2nd visit -that’s how much we loved it! Our 1st visit we went 31st Jan to 7th Feb 2025 and our 2nd visit was 31st Jan to 20th Feb 2026 and we had beautiful weather both times, but you do need warmer bits for the evening and keep yourself covered as the mosquitoes at night are vicious!…..I wish they could do something more about that). Anyway, if you book, I really don’t think you’ll be disappointed. As said before, the most outstanding staff everywhere here, I can’t commend them enough!
