The food is delicious with plenty of options, and the room service is top-notch. A special thank you to Mr. Ali Lotfy– those little towel figures always made our day! The hotel grounds are very green and perfect for a relaxing walk. The beach always had free sunbeds, and right nearby you can see fish. Highly recommended!

Cocktails and staff are great! Very friendly and couldn't do enough for us especially Mohammed Ayman in the Fantasia bar,always happy a doctor smiling 😀

We stayed at the Jaz Fanara from 13th to 20th May. I would like to leave a more positive review as the staff were excellent and the resort was lovely, however, we were unwell with diarrhea within 48 hours of arrival. I have just had it confirmed by Environmental Health that we contracted Salmonella, with the most likely culprit being poor food hygiene practices. We complained to the hotel that the food was being served lukewarm/tepid at best but were given reassurances about their procedures. Their method of bottling guest's water is also questionable. We took every possible measure of hand hygiene. The manager at the hotel tried to tell us it was just one of those things, it's the heat, it's the change of diet, the air con etc etc. Honestly ridiculous. It was Salmonella Food Poisoning, not 'Egypt belly' but our concerns were brushed off. This obviously put a complete dampner on our holiday and we couldn't in good faith leave a positive review and we wouldn't return to this hotel.
