We had a really enjoyable stay at JAZ Fanara Resort. The resort itself is huge, very clean, and beautifully maintained. Everywhere you walk feels well looked after and the grounds are lovely, which makes it a really pleasant place to spend time. The staff throughout the resort were extremely friendly and attentive, always happy to help and quick with a smile. A special mention has to go to Ahmed El Shahat, who looked after our room during our stay. His service was exceptional. The room was always spotless, he paid attention to the little details, and he genuinely went above and beyond to make sure everything was perfect for us. There are plenty of pools to choose from and we never struggled to find sunbeds, which was great. One pool in particular had a quieter, more relaxed atmosphere which we really appreciated when we wanted a calmer afternoon. The food was decent with a good range of options, and while it was not the highlight of the stay, there was always something to enjoy. The overall vibe of the resort is relaxed but can be lively if you want it to be, which gives a nice balance depending on the kind of evening you feel like having. The evening entertainment was mixed but generally enjoyable. Overall it is a great resort, clean, welcoming, and with excellent staff. We would happily return. Good value for money

Amazing week. Excellent service, snorkeling brilliant. Food great. Weather beautiful. Only downside is if you have difficulty walking ,up hill from beach is hard. The management should look at little golfing buggy to just go up and down. We would be quite happy to pay. Rooms kept clean everyday our housekeeper Yosef was so lovely. Staff in Fantasia bar, knew our order as soon as we walked in. Amir, Abdul. Restaurant El madina food was very good catered for vegetarian and carnivores like us. Waiters so attentive, Abdullah Zayed, Mohammed Dawod, good boys, felt looked after, Hassan (the egg chef) beautiful smile in the morning. Pool restaurant and Nino Italian restaurant Mohammed Emad remembered me from before. Miad and Hamid. Amazing people that made you feel welcome and VIPs . To Management - please sort out transport up and down from beach and I can bring more friends to visit. We are all over 65 so we need something to get to beach and back.

Great hotel - very well run. There are two areas: lively (where the main pool is) and quiet (where there two smaller pools). We were in the suite 1327 which is worth the extra. For views, go for 1325 or 1323 or 4333. Loved the food most days (a couple of days it was very meat focused which isn’t to my taste) but there is something for everyone. We came for the swimming and the reef - plus it’s very sheltered so not often windy here. Swam to all the different reef areas and saw amazing fish including rays. If you like quiet, head for the Gazella restaurant and if you like hustle and bustle then go to the main resto. Lots of ATMs. Spa was good. Was not that impressed with the Pyramids boat trip but other than that, was very satisfied for the price we paid. Close to Farsha cafe and Mango Market and a short taxi to the old market (or a 40 minute walk). There’s a great gym about 20 minutes walk (and a couple of so so gyms a bit closer). Hotel gym ok but no bench for weight training. Will return.

We travelled here on 22nd Feb and arrived with no complications Our room was a little tired but was fine for what we needed it for. Food a little repetitive and not much variety but again you will find something to eat. I must say at this point the staff in the restaurant are exemplary a big shout out to Tamwar who aways got our drinks as soon as we walked in and was always at hand to deal with our needs great man. Also the guys in the bar area were also great and very attentative. But and this is a big but for me and I would say a good many couples we spoke to the noise around the pool area is deafening we were told it has to be on 12hrs a day but not at this level surely its like your at a rave this does continue during the night when a show is on until around 11pm this isn't a 18-30 hotel we and a few other couples did complain many times but it still continued every day we were told to maybe go to the quite pool that is right at the other end of the hotel a good 10 min walk so if you did want to go and snorkel on the beach it would be quite a trek especially if you have disability issues as the trek to the beach is down hill and quite a walk on the way back not a problem for us but maybe for some elderly or people with mobility issues. I resorted to try and listen to my own music with headphones but you could still here there music clearly as it is so loud. So be warned you WONT BE ABLE TO RELAX AROUND THE MAIN POOLS DUE TO THE ENTERTAINMENT TEAMS CHOICE AND VOLUME OF THERE MUSIC as I say apart from this the hotel and the staff itself is great. But unfortunately I won't be returning which is a shame but that noise is unacceptable the other couples we had spoken to won't be either we are in our early 50s just so you know our ages it may appeal to the younger generation but not us. The customer relations team do listen and agree with it but I think there hands are tied this is a corporate decision so they are unable to change it.
